Bid to receive two tickets to a show of the world premiere new comedy, Judgment Day and enjoy a backstage meet and greet with its star, Jason Alexander.
Judgment Day: “Landing all the jokes… Moritz von Stuelpnagel tackles darkly funny materials with a shrewd balance of heightened reality, warped sitcom & underlying pathos” –Hollywood Reporter.
Emmy and Tony Award-winner Jason Alexander (of Seinfeld fame) makes his Chicago stage debut in a hilariously irreverent world premiere comedy staged by Broadway director Moritz von Stuelpnagel and written by award-winning TV screenwriter Rob Ulin. Alexander plays Sammy Campo, a staggeringly corrupt, morally bankrupt lawyer who’s threatened with eternal damnation by a terrifying angel after a near-death experience. In a desperate attempt to redeem himself, Sammy forms an unlikely bond with a Catholic priest who is having his own crisis of faith. Filled with razor-sharp wit, this deliciously devious comedy rollicks through the timeless questions of Western philosophy—“morality,” “faith,” and “Are people any damn good?”
Alexander has achieved international recognition for lauded performances on stage, screen and television to his extensive works as a writer, composer, director, producer and acting teacher. As George Costanza in the television series Seinfeld, Jason was nominated for seven consecutive Primetime Emmy Awards and four Golden Globe Awards.
Jason's many films include Pretty Woman, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Shallow Hal. He has made guest appearances in TV shows including Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Connors, Star Trek Prodigy, Young Sheldon, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. He voiced the title character in the animated series Duckman. Alexander has had an active career on stage, appearing in several Broadway musicals including Jerome Robbins' Broadway' for which he won the Tony Award as Best Leading Actor in a Musical.
