You and your family (up to 4 people) will spend an afternoon with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., master falconer and former president of the New York State Falconer’s Association and Cheryl Hines.
After lunch, you will learn the basics of this 8,000 year old sport at the hands of a true expert.
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. serves as President of Waterkeeper Alliance, Chairman of the Board and Chief Legal Counsel for Children’s Health Defense, and of counsel to Morgan & Morgan, a nationwide personal injury practice. He was previously Chief Prosecuting Attorney for the Hudson Riverkeeper, Senior Attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council, and a Clinical Professor and Supervising Attorney at Pace University School of Law’s Environmental Litigation Clinic. His reputation as a resolute defender of the environment and children’s health stems from a litany of successful legal actions. Mr. Kennedy was named one of Time magazine’s “Heroes for the Planet” for his success helping Riverkeeper lead the fight to restore the Hudson River. The group’s achievement helped spawn 300 Waterkeeper organizations across the globe. Mr. Kennedy has a long list of published books including the New York Times’ bestseller, Crimes Against Nature and his most recent memoir American Values: Lessons I Learned From My Family.
Emmy nominated actress, director and producer Cheryl Hines is probably most recognized for her role as Cheryl David on the Golden Globe-Award wining series, Curb Your Enthusiasm. She just wrapped the 10th season of the show and stepped behind the camera to direct her first episode of the program this year. Cheryl can also be seen in films such as A Bad Moms Christmas, RV, Wilson, and Waitress and TV series such as Son of Zorn, Suburgatory, and the animated series 3 Below.
Cheryl has produced shows for major networks, including School Pride for NBC, the award winning series Campus Ladies for Oxygen, and the series Hollywood Residential for Starz. She has directed many TV series as well as the feature film Serious Moonlight, written by the late Adrienne Shelley and starring Meg Ryan and Timothy Hutton.
