Kimiko Glenn is best known for her work as ‘Brook Soso’ in the award-winning Netflix series Orange Is The New Black, which garnered her three Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series. Most recently Kimiko had 3 straight offers in 2022, All Eps Recur of Michelle Obama's Netflix series Waffles & Mochi, Doug Ellin's next TV project currently titled Ramble On opposite Martin and Charlie Sheen & Kevin Connolly and History of the World Part II. She is a series regular in YOUTUBE ORIGINALS' number 1 scripted series and Streamy Award-winning Liza On Demand opposite Liza Koshy.
Kimiko can also be seen in Sacred Lies 2, as a major recurring guest star opposite Juliette Lewis. Other credits include the second season of The Guest Book on TBS, Drunk History as Maya Lin on Comedy Central, HBO’s hit series, High Maintenance, Comedy Central's Broad City, and FX's Married. In the feature space, Kimiko can be seen in Can You Keep a Secret opposite Alexandra Daddario which premiered in September 2019 and Freeform’s MFT Ghosting. Other projects include New Line’s Nerve alongside Emma Roberts and Dave Franco, plus the recent LAFF darling, In Reality. Kimiko is also one of the hottest voices in animation. She voices the titular role on Nickelodeon's Baby Shark as 'Baby Shark', a supporting lead in the stunning nominated feature Over The Moon, the series lead of Horse in Centuarworld, Series regular Bridgette in Close Enough, Ducktales, Carmen Sandiego, Sofia The First and The Lion Guard amongst others. Her newest feature My Little Pony: The New Generation just dropped on Netflix and was the #1 movie in the world in its first week.
In 2019, she voiced Peni Parker in the Academy Award Winning Feature, Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse. In her Broadway debut, Kimiko originated the role of ‘Dawn’ in the adaptation of the 2007 Feature Waitress, which is nominated for a 2016 Tony Award for Best Musical as well as a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Musical, with music and lyrics by award-winning pop star Sara Bareilles.
