Big Bang on Blue (“Imaginaries”) - The beauty of the Universes’ beginning. “Imaginaries” portray the awe and wonder of the beginning of life. David Tobey captures the essence of a multitude of “Big Bang” theories in this stunning example of the expansion and radiation of the universe. The painting is unframed acrylic on canvas, professionally packaged and shipped in a secured tube. In the artists words: “My work explores the aesthetic between visual abstraction and music. I feel there is a strong connection between the rhythms of shape, line, color and music. As a professional musician for over 30 years, music has given me a wealth of insight and inspiration that I try to translate into visual art. My art has energy and rhythm with a strict eye on the structured whole. Simple monochromatic forms through complex color abstractions simulate harmonies from simple solo instruments through to the complexity of complete symphonic and operatic works.” A signed background of the artist’s history letter accompanies the print. It will be professionally packaged and shipped in a secure tube.
