Bid now to win a three-night stay at the all-inclusive, Playa Viva Luxury Eco Resort in Zihuatanejo, Mexico!
This package includes:
Childhood dreams do come true—you can officially sleep in a beyond-fabulous and eco-conscious treehouse at Playa Viva. These aren't ordinary treehouses, though, as the silhouettes of the hotel's newest bamboo additions are modeled after a manta ray. Fresh air seamlessly flows throughout the lattice-like structures, making it feel as though guests are one with nature. However, the star of the Mexican retreat is the view of the lush forest that the hotel's Permaculture team has helped regrow after years of deforestation and continues to cultivate today.
Playa Viva, the founding member of Regenerative Travel is located 35 minutes south of Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa International Airport on a mile of pristine beach on the Pacific Coast of Mexico Surrounded by lush green palms, this resort takes the concept of luxury nature vacation to the next level offering on-site farm-to-table dining, daily yoga, and wellness experiences for both body and mind, and more. Playa Viva is the ideal place for a beach getaway, a family holiday, an intimate wedding, and more. Sharing the Regenerative Travel motto, “Where Your Vacation Meets Your Values”(™) guests may luxuriate in open-air luxe treehouse accommodations, roam on nearly 200 acres, explore a mile of beachfront and dine on healthy farm-to-table Mexican food. Playa Viva unveiled six luxurious and stunning bamboo treehouses last year. The treehouses were designed based on drone footage of the Mobula Manta-Ray migration in front of the resort. The treehouses are suspended in mid-air by palm trees. Palms transplanted from the property’s own coconut grove serve as living piers and provide a vegetative fabric to protect the dunes.
Guests can partake in daily beachside yoga classes, choose from a variety of massage services, and visit the resort’s baby sea turtle sanctuary. Local operators lead excursions to explore the stunning natural landscape of the coast and local communities around the region, providing meaningful personal engagement with the people and the environment. The culinary program led by Chef Daniel includes custom dining options. The kitchen sources ingredients from the on-site farm and grows enough produce to sell to other restaurants in the area. Some of these ingredients include coconuts, mangos, cashews, tamarind, tomatoes, lettuces, cactus, and many other earthly delights, especially cacao for homemade chocolate.
