Michael Kaleda, an East coast transplant, moved to Los Angeles after working alongside late talent manager & producer, Tobie Haggerty, in New York City.
He helped manage such notable clients as Mario Van Peebles, JoBeth Williams and Jenny Slate in addition to assisting in the development of the IFC series THE WHITEST KIDS YOU KNOW and the Fox Atomic feature MISS MARCH. In time, Michael developed his own clients and was commissioned to move to the Los Angeles branch of Vincent Cirrincione Associates as a permanent addition to the West Coast talent management team, where he was involved in the careers of celebrities such as Halle Berry, Julie Benz and and Taraji P. Henson. In 2010, Michael Kaleda & his partner Anna Liza Recto launched BOLD Management & Production. BOLD MP continually strives to foster a small, diverse and unique talent roster while helping to develop and produce strong, original content. Current clients include Tim Kang (CBS’s The Mentalist), John DeLuca (Disney’s Teen Beach Movies), Christopher Larkin (CW's The 100), Breeda Wool (Lifetime's UnReal), Emily Tremaine (Freeform’s Guilt, HBO’s Vinyl), DeWanda Wise (Fox’s Shots Fired), established Disney Channel star Anneliese van der Pol (That's So Raven), British actor/screenwriter, Emmy and Olivier Award nominee Peter Woodward and World Surf League's Big Wave commissioner, commentator and international surf icon Peter Mel. Michael has also worked on the development of the Fox Digital series SUPER EGO written by Ryan Homchick and Will Janowitz. Michael co-executive produced the short film, ROOM 731, starring Korean super star Kim Yoo-Jung.
In 2014, ROOM 731 was accepted into over a dozen worldwide festivals and received numerous nominations and awards. He is currently executive producing the comedy series, UnCool, which was just nominated for Elizabeth Bank's WhoHaHa Awards for best original series.
