Overtime Bidding

Why did the auction closing time extend by 10 minutes after I placed my bid? This is called "Popcorn" Bidding: Bids placed within 10 minutes prior to a lot's scheduled closing time will extend the closing time on that lot an additional 10 minutes. This gives all bidders an opportunity to place a competing bid. All lots will close when there have been no bids placed within the last remaining 10 minutes.

Max Bid

Your Max Bid is the most you are willing to pay for an auction item. Consider placing a Max Bid if you don’t have time to monitor an auction. Your Max Bid won't be displayed to other bidders, but will be displayed as the current bid based on the bidding increment. You won’t pay the Max Bid amount unless another bid bumps you up to the next increment.

Now you can keep track of the closing date, next minimum bid and number of bids from your Account page. We’ll email you a reminder to bid the morning items you are watching close. Closing Time

This is the time the auction will end, but "Popcorn Bidding" could add 10 minutes to the closing time. If a bid is placed within 10 minutes of the closing time, the auction will extend by 10 minutes. This allows competing bidders a chance to stay in the race.

Terry Wood was the longtime president of development and creative affairs as syndication executive at CBS TV Distribution. Terry was named President, Creative Affairs and Development, King World and CBS Paramount Domestic Television, in January 2005. In her position, she oversaw all new program development and production for two of the most prolific distribution systems in television. She also oversaw production of CBS Paramount's current hit series Entertainment Tonight, The Insider and Dr. Phil, and shepherds brand extensions for these properties such as ET on MTV, ET Canada and the Dr. Phil and ET primetime specials for CBS. She is credited with developing and launching the shows that currently define daytime television. Most notably, Terry developed and nurtured the mega-successful Dr. Phil and Emmy-winning Rachael Ray show.

Wood spent eight years with CBS News, where she garnered multiple Emmy Awards for her work as a producer on "60 Minutes," "Eye to Eye With Connie Chung" and the "Evening News With Dan Rather." Then, in 2002, Wood joined the world of syndicated TV entertainment at Paramount as Executive Vice President, Programming, Paramount Domestic Television. In that role, she spearheaded the development, production and launch of Dr. Phil, which debuted higher than any other syndicated talk show since 1986 and continues to rank #2 among all talk shows. In 2004, she headed up the development, production and launch of The Insider, which premiered as the highest-rated debut of any newsmagazine in syndication since 1996. Also during this time, Wood supervised the development and production of the CBS primetime special, A Dr. Phil Primetime Special: Family First which ranked #2 in its time period and propelled CBS to ranking #1 for the night. She then jumped to the position of President of Creative Affairs and Development.

Terms: Meeting will take place in Los Angeles. Meetings are approximately 30-45 minutes and will not exceed 1 hour. Time of meeting is contingent on availability and decision of Terry Wood. Cannot be transferred, resold or re-auctioned.

Shipping and Handling The minimum shipping, handling and applicable insurance for this item is $14.95. Additional shipping charges may apply based upon the location of the winner. Hard copies of tickets, travel certificates and merchandise are shipped via FedEx or professional shipping service.
