Overtime Bidding

Why did the auction closing time extend by 10 minutes after I placed my bid? This is called "Popcorn" Bidding: Bids placed within 10 minutes prior to a lot's scheduled closing time will extend the closing time on that lot an additional 10 minutes. This gives all bidders an opportunity to place a competing bid. All lots will close when there have been no bids placed within the last remaining 10 minutes.

Max Bid

Your Max Bid is the most you are willing to pay for an auction item. Consider placing a Max Bid if you don’t have time to monitor an auction. Your Max Bid won't be displayed to other bidders, but will be displayed as the current bid based on the bidding increment. You won’t pay the Max Bid amount unless another bid bumps you up to the next increment.

Watching Items

You can monitor items you're interested in without placing a bid by selecting Watch This Item after you've logged into your account. Now you can keep track of the closing date, next minimum bid and number of bids from your Account page. We’ll email you a reminder to bid the morning items you are watching close. You can remove an item from your watch list from your Account page or by clicking the Watch button again.

Closing Time

This is the time the auction will end, but "Popcorn Bidding" could add 10 minutes to the closing time. If a bid is placed within 10 minutes of the closing time, the auction will extend by 10 minutes. This allows competing bidders a chance to stay in the race.

Terms: Package Term and Conditions: This package includes two (2) safari days for six (6) guests, services of a licensed, experienced guide, private safari vehicle, meals, soft drinks, laundry, arrival and departure day accommodation, airport transfers and two (2) activities per person while on Safari. For parties larger than six (6) guests, the original buyer may purchase one (1) additional African Days package from Charitybuzz at the original bid price. Buyer may not use African Days packages in conjunction or combine them with any other African safari and/or excursion. Additional days can be added to the package by direct negotiation with African Days. There is no discount for less people. Buyer is responsible to contact African Days within six (6) months of the purchase date to schedule a safari. The safari must be taken within two (2) years of the purchase date. This package may be transferable at the option of African Days. Buyer must make arrangements directly with African Days for any transfer. THIS PACKAGE IS NOT REFUNDABLE. Services not included are airfare, tax, additional activity or spa fees and alcoholic beverages.

Shipping and Handling The minimum shipping, handling and applicable insurance for this item is $14.95. Additional shipping charges may apply based upon the location of the winner. Hard copies of tickets, travel certificates and merchandise are shipped via FedEx or professional shipping service. Detailed redemption information for non-tangible items will be emailed to the winning bidder.
