Overtime Bidding

Why did the auction closing time extend by 10 minutes after I placed my bid? This is called "Popcorn" Bidding: Bids placed within 10 minutes prior to a lot's scheduled closing time will extend the closing time on that lot an additional 10 minutes. This gives all bidders an opportunity to place a competing bid. All lots will close when there have been no bids placed within the last remaining 10 minutes.

Max Bid

Your Max Bid is the most you are willing to pay for an auction item. Consider placing a Max Bid if you don’t have time to monitor an auction. Your Max Bid won't be displayed to other bidders, but will be displayed as the current bid based on the bidding increment. You won’t pay the Max Bid amount unless another bid bumps you up to the next increment.

Watching Items

You can monitor items you're interested in without placing a bid by selecting Watch This Item after you've logged into your account. Now you can keep track of the closing date, next minimum bid and number of bids from your Account page. We’ll email you a reminder to bid the morning items you are watching close. You can remove an item from your watch list from your Account page or by clicking the Watch button again.

Closing Time

This is the time the auction will end, but "Popcorn Bidding" could add 10 minutes to the closing time. If a bid is placed within 10 minutes of the closing time, the auction will extend by 10 minutes. This allows competing bidders a chance to stay in the race.

Own this exclusively designed wedding gown and veil by Allen Schwartz inspired by the Royal Wedding gown worn by Kate Middleton. Allen will personally fit you in his Los Angeles showroom (if you would like), and the dress will to be custom made in your size.

Allen B. Schwartz began his adventure and ultimate destiny in the fashion world at the age of sixteen when he ventured from his home in Brooklyn to Manhattan. With drive and determination, Mr. Schwartz landed his first job at Russ Togs. Through his passion for sales, Mr. Schwartz quickly worked his way through the ranks. However it was his instinct for design that would guide his success.

Esprit de Corp would be Schwartz's next major venture, in which he founded the brand and spent ten years at the helm growing the business in San Francisco. In 1982, Schwartz decided it was time to go out on his own. With the desire to design still burning, he made several major life changes including moving to Los Angeles where he launched A.B.S. by Allen Schwartz. The media and fashion buyers alike quickly hailed Schwartz "the master of trend." He is revered and applauded for the extraordinary job he does of bringing the latest trends to the stores in record time, with his own vision and interpretation.

The media has widely covered Schwartz and aided him in reaching a national and international audience. He appears regularly on Entertainment Tonight as a style expert, as well as frequents fashion segments on CNBC, CNN, the Today Show and Oprah. Allen and the A.B.S. brand also receive consistent editorial coverage in the major fashion magazines such as Vogue, Teen Vogue, InStyle, Lucky, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Us Weekly, In Touch and People. Schwartz was recognized by Forbes magazine as heading one of the nation's fastest growing fashion companies.
