A Taste of the NFL
Multi-platinum country recording artist Martina McBride will perform live at the Taste of the NFL 20th annual Super Event on Saturday, February 5th at the Fort Worth Convention Center. McBride, a four-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year and three-time ACME Female Vocalist of the Year, joins more than 100 culinary and NFL stars celebrating Taste of the NFL's 20th Anniversary "Party with a Purpose"!
It seems only fitting that the Taste of the NFL's 20th Anniversary "Party with a Purpose" is holding its biggest celebration ever in North Texas! It's also appropriate that we've put together a championship roster with some of the biggest names in food and football to help us celebrate twenty years of Kicking Hunger in America!
On Saturday, February 5, more than 3,000 guests will be at the Fort Worth Convention Center to sample culinary creations served up by acclaimed chefs representing each NFL team as well as the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the NFL. Eight preeminent local chefs will represent the "Flavors of North Texas" in a special food section hosted by Cadillac.
In addition to amazing food and wine pairings from E&J Gallo Winery, guests will have the opportunity to talk football with more than thirty five NFL current, alumni and Hall of Fame greats.
Taste of the NFL is also excited to welcome back many inaugural chefs and players who were at the very first Super Bowl Taste event in 1992 in Minneapolis. Celebrity Chefs Tom Colicchio, Susan Goss, Robert Del Grande, Susan Spicer, Todd English Stephan Pyles and Nancy Silverton, along with NFL alumns Jan Stenerud, Bobby Mitchell, Floyd Little, Tommy Nobis and Bob Lurtsema, are all returning to help commemorate this milestone.
Other celebrities scheduled to attend include "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro, the newly-crowned Miss America 2011, and more than a dozen Pro Football Hall of Fame players who always make Taste of the NFL a "must-stop" on their Super Bowl schedule.
Top it all off with a one-of-a-kind silent auction and an intimate concert by a nationally acclaimed musical group and it's the recipe for a very special evening of food, fun and football!
