KaBOOM! is a national non-profit dedicated to saving play for America's children. Our mission is to create great playspaces through the participation and leadership of communities.
Unfortunately, only 1-in-5 children in the U.S. currently live within walking distance of a park or playground. KaBOOM! is dedicated to fighting this Play Deficit that is harming children across the country by bringing together volunteers and organizations for done-in-a-day playground projects. This Play Deficit is having profound consequences for kids physically as well as mentally and socially. Children desperately need a place to play every day in order to be active and healthy. Ultimately, we envision a place to play within walking distance of every child in America. All proceeds will be donated to KaBOOM! to build a playground in New York to provide something that every child deserves: a great place to play.
