    At Young and the Restless

Charitybuzz gave my husband and me the most incredible experience of visiting the set of the Young and the Restless. From the moment we arrived at CBS, we were greeted with such warmth and were made to feel as if we were part of the casts' extended family. The actor, Daniel Goddard, was an incredibly gracious host, and spent an extended amount of time with us. The opportunity to meet stars we had watched on television for over 30 years surpassed all of our expectations! Thank you, Charitybuzz!

I just wanted to say a massive " thank you" for the opportunity to make a dream come true. I won the auction to visit the set of NCIS LA and meet the cast. My friend and I had a fantastic time... We struck gold as the whole cast was on set the day of our visit. They couldn't have been nicer! Not just the cast but the crew few fab too. It took a lot of planning as we had to organise it around work, kids and making it into a holiday! It was well worth the 11 hour flight from the UK,!! Erin who I co-ordinated with was very helpful from day one trying to give us as big a time frame to visit the set as possible and also hotel recommendations etc. We were very looked after by the crew. It was a day I will never forget. What a fantastic website Charitybuzz is.

Thanks to CharityBuzz, My brother and I had the opportunity of meeting our idols Metallica, with 2 meet n greet tickets to the Soundwave Festival in Brisbane Australia on the 23/2/13. We have been huge fans for over 26 years and when the opportunity arose to win a meet n greet for 2, we weren't going to miss out.

To meet our idols was amazing, Jamyz, Lars, Kirk and Rob were great to talk too, they took there time to listen and answer our questions, sign our Drum skins and guitars, they made us feel very welcomed and part of the Metallica family or be it for only 2 hours.

With this opportunity from Charitybuzz our dream would not have been a reality, thank you Jenn for all that you have done to make this come true.

    Janna and Celine Dion

Hi Charitybuzz, I won a 2-night stay at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, a pool-side cabana rental for the day, dinner for 2 at Central Restaurant, 2 tickets to see Celine’s fabulous show, and a meet and greet with Celine. My weekend was absolutely wonderful!! She is just so down to Earth, very welcoming and gracious. That moment in time couldn’t last long enough. While I would love to be able to sit and chat with Celine for 5 minutes, just being able to meet her face to face was absolutely fantastic. As always, her concert was magnificent and I can’t wait to go back again. I felt like royalty with the luxury suite, cabana rental and fine dining. I even took advantage of the spa for an afternoon. What a tremendously splendid weekend!!! In our society, it seems you have to know someone or use someone in order to have your dreams realized. Without Charitybuzz, there would be no way that common folk like me from the middle of nowhere could have a dream realized. Thank you Charitybuzz!!

    JAKE AND LINDA

Charitybuzz gave me the wonderful opportunity of meeting Jake Gyllenhaal after a performance of his play, ''If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet''. Jake was kind and charming as I knew he would be. His assistant, Max, was also so easy to talk with and accessible. Lauren Salzman at Charitybuzz made the entire event smooth, professional and easy!! I can't say enough good things about Charitybuzz and Lauren for giving me this unique experience!!!

Jermiah Victor and Nathanael Victor-Smith with Michael Phelps

It may have taken over a year to coordinate our schedules, but flying to Baltimore and meeting Michael Phelps for a private lunch and swim lesson will forever be in my family’s memories.

Both of my boys love fitness and have dreams of their own to be professional athletes. Michael and his sister Hilary were so kind as was their development director Gary. It was like hanging out with old friends. We discussed bringing his swim school to Florida using our boys’ charity Kidsserve.com, and Michael even played in the grass with the boys and blew dandelions with them. We don’t have dandelions in Florida so that was a special treat for the boys.

Michael’s playful nature and down to earth manner was so pleasant to see in today’s world. His mom should be proud. I know I am to have met him.

This is not my first Charitybuzz.com auction, and it will definitely not be my last.

Love & Blessings,

— Jenah Victor, Jermiah and Nathanael

Yenny Carver, Jennifer Lopez, Danny Carver

We wanted to write Charitybuzz and thank you and the Maribel Foundation for the wonderful experience we had meeting Jennifer Lopez after the Q’ Viva concert in Las Vegas (which by the way was also incredible).

Everything was handled professionally from the notification that we had won the bid to the arrangements for the hotel room, the concert tickets (truly first class seats) and the actual meet and greet. It all went off without a hitch. We want to extend a special thank you to Meghan from Charitybuzz who has helped us before, Todd and Tiana from the Maribel Foundation and especially to Ms. Lopez who was so warm and gracious when we met and who spent an inordinate amount of time with us despite having just come off the stage. She was also aware that there was a long line of people waiting to talk to her outside her dressing room door but still took the time to visit with us like we were old friends.

We are both such huge fans, this entire experience was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. This was our second winning bid with Charitybuzz and we’ll continue to use the site as we are very happy with the professionalism you have displayed and the quality of experience you provide. We are truly looking forward to the next unique experience. Thank you again for everything.

    Vagn and "The Boss"

Yesterday I met Bruce Springsteen at Hard Rock Calling in London. It was a tremendous success, and Bruce was so extremely nice and generous. Barbara Carr was Master of Ceremony in the most efficient and understanding way. Thank you for your great contribution to make my dream come true!

Christian with his wife and Corey Feldman

Yesterday I had the pleasure of fulfilling my Charitybuzz auction "Dinner With Corey Feldman." There are several key moments in everybody's life that they will always cherish and remember, and this is one of mine. From the moment Corey walked in, he was gracious, courteous to both me and my wife, and the perfect dinner conversationalist. I bid on this auction because my wife was the huge Corey Feldman fan, but I think I left the dinner being a bigger fan than she is! This was such a pleasant experience, and I highly recommend it to anybody about to undertake their own Charitybuzz journey. I want to personally thank Laura Deming for going out of her way to make this experience such a memorable one for us. Thank you, Thank you, thank you!!!

thank A-Rod's crew. Thanks Leslie and Adam for helping once we got to Tampa

Yankees for not only donating the tickets to the spring training game, but
also giving of your time to sit down and chat with three young boys who look
up to you! I will keep bidding on Charitybuzz, the money goes to great

    David and James Taylor

I learned to play the guitar because of the man and his music. So when this opportunity came up [to meet him], I jumped at it. You never know what to expect, but the show was great. A set list for fans that have been into his music for a long time. My best friend Jaye and I both play the guitar, and there we were in this small backstage area and into the room walked James Taylor. He could not have been more gracious. It’s that simple. Meeting someone finally that influenced you to do something that you enjoy every day and having him be the guy that you saw so many times on stage was well, cool.

So thank you again James for your music, for giving me the passion to play and for your time last week. Awesome.

    Emory Pahl and Nickelback

I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for the incredible experience this weekend with the Milwaukee Nickelback concert. Everybody was so accommodating from start to finish and the seats were amazing. What really impressed me is how much personal attention I was given by everyone involved after the winning bid was made, by Brad who went out of his way to call me a couple times to make sure I was finding everything ok and checking to make sure I was on schedule and by Ryan Peake himself. I wasn't sure what to expect, but Ryan and the rest of the band were extremly down to earth and friendly. When I was personally thanked by Ryan numerous times for supporting the foundation, this went a long way with me because of the genuine appreciation shown. I will definitely be back to support the Obakki Foundation and Charitybuzz in the future.

    Martin Sheen

I would like to thank you for arranging such a great experience for me and my guests.

We arrived for lunch just a few minutes before Martin Sheen and were promptly seated. I had wondered if people would be stopping by the table to get a moment of Martin's attention, but that certainly did not turn out to be an issue. Tra di Noi provided an excellent setting for our lunch and we were allowed to visit at length and without interruption.

Martin was truly a delightful and most gracious host. He ordered a pizza as an appetizer. When it arrived at the table, steaming hot, he served each of us and handled the melting cheese with great dexterity. It should have been a bit unnerving to be handed my pizza by an award-winning actor, but Martin is so down-to-earth that everyone felt right at home with him.

Please send my regards to Kerry Kennedy at the RFK Foundation. She, along with your help at Charitybuzz, provided me with a truly unique and memorable experience.

My meet & greet with Little Steven at the Bruce Springsteen Concert in Tampa was handled extremely well, and the charity, Rock and Roll Forever Foundation, treated us like VIPs, exceeding our expectations in every way. After the meet & greet, the seat locations for the Springsteen concert were fantastic, mongst the best seats in the house and made for an awesome concert. The staff of Charitybuzz and Rock and Roll Foundation delivered on what was promised - and more - and made the entire experience seem more "personal" than simply an internet auction.

    Vicki, Carol and Daniel Radcliffe

I have been an avid Daniel Radcliffe fan for a decade now and have always dreamed of the day that I’d get to meet him personally. I am thankful for Charitybuzz for allowing my dream to come true.

After a Sunday matinee of “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” where my best friend and I had house seats for the show that day. After the show we were greeted at the stage door by Dan’s agent who directed us inside the theater to our meeting place. He was very friendly, accommodating and immediately made us feel at ease. I was talking with another actor in the play in the vicinity when they had brought Dan out to meet us and it took me by surprise.  I walked over to him and stuck out my sweaty hand and introduced myself and Dan with his bright smile said, “Nice to meet you!”  Dan is wonderfully humble and down to earth … it’s like being with a friend. Dan had an award event he had to attend shortly after our meeting so after the signatures and posing for photos it was time for him to leave.  But I could not let him go without asking him for a hug in which he replied, “Sure, of course!”  So I got my heart to heart hug which was another dream come true.

Another rewarding experience of winning this charity auction is two weeks after I won, I received a personal postcard from Ethel Kennedy thanking me for my charity contribution to RFK Center. I was very thrilled about receiving her postcard and will keep it forever!

I truly want to thank Erin Hall with Charitybuzz as it certainly has been a very wonderful and pleasant experience dealing with her.  I can only hope an opportunity like this can come again so I may be able to have the pleasure to revisit my favorite actor of all time.

Debbie McLeod Sears, President Clinton, Jay Sears

After intense, exciting bidding, I won the privilege of spending the day with President Bill Clinton on the day he launched his new book, Back to Work. My husband and I went to three separate events in which the President discussed his book or gave an award. Secret service were everywhere as were the Presidents aids. We stood in back rooms and green rooms where accomplished folks had waited before us. Most importantly, we had conversations with one of the brightest, most intelligent men on the planet. We talked about recycling, the economy, poverty, women, education, politics and just about anything else you can imagine. Next time we see a motorcade going down the streets of NYC we will remember when we were riding in one of those black SUVs trailing the President!

    Lisa Martin & Barbra Streisand

Being one of the winners of a set visit to MY MOTHER’S CURSE and meeting the one and only Barbra Streisand was a dream come true! My daughter and I spent an incredible nine hours on the set including two visits to Barbra’s trailer, a tour through the wardrobe trailer (including personal attention from Danny Glicker), great vantage points on set and even participation as extras within a scene. When there was an unexpected problem with the photographs taken on the LA set visit, we were given the chance to visit the set in Las Vegas where the final photographs were taken, and where I had another amazing nine hours on set! Ms. Streisand, her staff (Rupa, Monique and Renata) and the director, designers, artists and movie crew went out of their way to make this a very special and unforgettable event!

This was my first experience with Charitybuzz, and it went extremely well. Everyone I interacted with was very responsive and helpful. A special thanks to Jenn for her care and attention!

It was an honor and absolute pleasure meeting Barbra Streisand and watching her work – the experience gave us memories for a lifetime, and the photograph is something to treasure! It was also gratifying to join Ms Streisand in supporting The Women’s Heart Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Surfers at Nihiwatu in Sumba, Indonesia

When I won an "Eco Resort Experience" last March in the Christie's Green Auction at Charitybuzz.com, I thought we were probably headed to a typically exotic deluxe vacation spot on the other side of the world. It turns out that I was in store for one of the most memorable experiences of my life, reminiscent of Marty McFLy traveling in his "Back To The Future" DeLorean. A visit to Nihiwatu in Sumba, Indonesia is like a trip back in time.

Sumba is truly a time warp, one of the last animist societies remaining in the world. It was discovered by one of Magellan's companions, in the 16th century on a spice gathering voyage. Overall, not much has changed on this island of 600,000 natives since those days, with the exception of the Nihiwatu compound, a series of tastefully outfitted villas and bungalows.

Thank you Jenn at Charitybuzz for your outstanding white glove service and facilitating the holiday trip as it accommodated our schedule perfectly.

Amanda and Josh Miller at <i>True Blood</i>

My husband and I won a walk-on role on the hit HBO series, True Blood. Our experience was definitely once in a lifetime. I can't imagine any other scenario where my husband and I would have backstage access to the creation of a top-rated TV series along with the opportunity to meet the cast and crew.

Because our set visit was near the end of the season, two episodes were being filmed in the same day, which is unusual. The scenes being filmed for those two episodes were ensemble scenes, so a large amount of the cast was actually on set that day. We had the opportunity to meet all of the major characters on the show along with most of the supporting cast.

Our tour guide was incredibly accommodating and nice. Everyone we met that day understood how fascinating this experience was for us and helped to make the day even more memorable. The experience exceeded our expectations in every way. It was unbelievable and a dream come true for both of us.

    Alan Batt Firefighter Calendar Shoot

As the winner of the NYC Firemen’s Calendar auction item, all I can say is WOW! What a great day! I spent the whole day with Battman running around New York City hitting some great city landmarks shooting local firemen for the 2012 firemen’s calendar. I even had the opportunity to act as the photographer’s assistant! Battman is the perfect host and we spent a lot of time sharing stories of his life experiences photographing years of the calendar! I couldn’t have asked for a more ‘dream come true’ experience. The firefighters were great and the locations for the shoots were even better. Who would ever thought I’d be standing (safely) in the middle of Times Square or standing on an antique fire tug helping to photograph some of NYC’s finest firemen! I still can’t believe that I was part of this experience and in part helping to bring hope to hungry children around the world! Thanks Battman and Action Against Hunger!

We would once again like to thank Charitybuzz for making a dream come true!! This time it was for our son.

For a young boy who enjoys playing sports, especially baseball, getting tickets to a Yankees game was a dream come true. If getting to sit in the family section at Yankee Stadium wasn’t enough, being escorted down to the Yankees clubhouse to meet Curtis Granderson after the game was outstanding. As we waited for Curtis to come out, we got to see almost all of the other Yankee players. When Curtis finally exited the clubhouse, he couldn’t have been nicer or more gracious. We were afraid that it would be a quick autograph and maybe a photo op, since we had been told he had another engagement in another part of New York later that day. Curtis did not rush us at all. He made us feel as though we were his only priority. We sat and chatted with Curtis about 10-15 minutes and had him sign several baseballs for my son and his cousins. We had been told that more than likely down in the family area of the clubhouse no photos would be allowed. But because all the other players had left and it was just us and Curtis, we were able to get a photo of my son with Curtis.

Thanks again to Charitybuzz, the Yankees, and Curtis Granderson for an experience my son will never forget.

Then we got to meet Heart. WOW, Nancy and Ann Wilson could not have been any nicer than they were to me and my two daughters! They spent more time than I expected interacting with my daughters, signing autographs for them, posing for photos and high fiving both of them as they left. Overall, the experience far exceeded my expectations, and I can’t thank Charitybuzz and Heart enough for an experience our family will remember and treasure forever!"

We won a personal serenade by Alicia Keys, plus tickets for one of her concerts. We were concerned that the logistics weren’t going to work out, but it ended up being sooo much better than we had anticipated!! Because Alicia wasn’t scheduled to tour locally in Kansas City, we were hoping to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday with Alicia’s concert in Houston. Jenn, with Charitybuzz, was a superb intermediary, answering our questions and helping to get the date arranged with Alicia’s people. When we got to the arena, Alicia’s security/tour manager, Rob, met us there. He was very friendly and lined us up at the back of the Meet & Greet line and announced to everyone that “we have something VERY special for you two!” So, of course, everyone was asking us what was going on!

After the other Meet & Greet’s, Alicia went to her dressing room; and we were escorted there, where it was just her and the 2 of us. She asked us to join her on the couch where the three of us chatted for 10-15 minutes. She then invited us to stand by her at her keyboard, and played “If I Ain’t Got You”. I must say that was pretty danged incredible/awesome/heavenly standing right next to her while she played and sang just for us! When she finished playing, she wished Brenda “Happy Birthday”, gave hugs all around, and called in her assistant so we could have a photo with her. Then we went to our seats (which were GREAT seats) for the concert. We continued to feel the love during the concert as she acknowledged us during "If I Ain't Got You", and bowed to us at the end. Alicia is truly a gracious and personable hostess, as well as a gifted performer, and a beautiful person. We will be forever thankful to her, and to Rob and the others of her entourage, and to Jenn for making this unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime dream come true.

Wow! As a loyal Law & Order: SVU fan, I was so excited to learn that I had won the auction to have lunch and a tour of the set with the one and only Tamara Tunie. A friend & colleague, who is a Charitybuzz winner herself, first told me about the Anderson Cooper | RFK Center Auction, and I couldn't resist bidding, though I was still amazed when I actually won. The experience of meeting with Anderson Cooper and watching his show tape live was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget."

    Russell Simmons

Recently my parents gave me (for my 18th birthday) a yoga session with Russell Simmons. It was an auction item from his Diamond Empowerment Fund. The experience was amazing! Mr. Simmons was an extremely gracious host and made me feel very at ease and comfortable. The staff at the yoga school were very nice and helpful. Mr. Simmons explained that yoga was more than just exercise, but it was also a spiritual experience as well. The yoga experience with Russell Simmons was one I will cherish and never forget.”

    John Stamos

I enjoyed seeing John Stamos and meeting Bob Saget at the Ivy restaurant August 28, 2010.

John and Bob were very easy to talk to. I think I was a little overwhelmed because there are things I forgot to ask them. I enjoyed talking about work, family, etc. I took some pictures of them and the waiter took pictures of us. We were at the restaurant about 2 ½ hours.

The waiter was very attentive to us; the food was delicious and a very nice atmosphere in the restaurant. I hope John and Bob had a good time.

I am pleased to put my money towards a charity to help someone else; this one was "15 Foundation" that provides educational opportunities for low-income students.

Shanna Zullo from Charitybuzz and John's agent were very nice to email and talk to.

It was a wonderful experience that many people don't get to have and I would do it again.

    Selena Gomez

Several months ago I noticed my daughter would rush to her laptop the moment she arrived home from school and after some investigation I found out that she was watching a Charitybuzz auction for a shopping spree with Selena Gomez. When I questioned her about the auction, she told me about Selena's charity, Island Dog, and the wonderful work they were doing to rescue abandoned and injured dogs in Puerto Rico. Although she never asked me to bid on the auction, I knew that meeting Selena and contributing to such a worthy cause would mean the world to her.

“Selena and her parents were amazing! Within minutes of meeting, Selena and my daughter were laughing and talking as if they had known each other for years. And, Selena's parents were so genuine and 'down to earth' that I enjoyed myself as much as my daughter.

“As parents we want to be able to make our children's dreams come true and this trip could not have been more perfect. Thank you to Erin and Charitybuzz for making it possible. And, thank you to Selena, Mandy, and Brian for giving us memories that will last a lifetime!”

    Sharon Osbourne

My partner and I would like to thank Charitybuzz for the amazing opportunity to see a live taping of America's Got Talent and meet Sharon Osbourne. When we arrived at the CBS Studio in Los Angeles, we were treated like VIPs and provided a VIP sticker that said "Guest of Sharon". We were sat in the front row, next to Holly Robinson-Pete and the judges table. We enjoyed a wonderful show, met Sharon, talked with her for a while, got a picture and her autograph and even met Nick Cannon, the host. It was an amazing experience, Sharon is such a wonderful person and we were supporting a great charity, The True Colors Foundation. Thank you again for this opportunity of a lifetime and I will keep bidding for future experiences.

    Joy Behar

I was the lucky winner of The View tickets and a meet and greet with Joy Behar. First, the staff at the show was very, very nice. They treated myself and my best friend like VIP's. We had great seats, were able to go into the Green Room, and were able to do a meet and greet with not just Joy, but the other ladies as well, although we didn't get too close to Whoopie, as she was suffering from the flu. We were able to take lots of pictures and Joy was every bit as nice as I thought she would be! Thanks a lot Charitybuzz, you are the greatest!

    Julia Louis-Dreyfus

I had a great experience with Charitybuzz.com. I had decided to support the RFK Center by purchasing one of their items during their auction held by Charitybuzz. I won a bid for a package donated by Julia Louis-Dreyfus that included autographed DVDs, tickets to her show, a cast autographed script, and a meet-and-greet with her. I had never participated in an online auction before, but the Auction Specialist, Erin W., made the process extremely easy and in fact enjoyable. I worked with her throughout the entire post-purchase process as she patiently answered my many questions and coordinated our plans efficiently. Ms. Louis-Dreyfus and her associates were also very gracious and accommodating. In short, I had a wonderful experience with Charitybuzz auctions, and I would definitely do it again!”

    Evan Lysacek

Thanks so kindly for facilitating my spectacular experience with Evan Lysacek, 2010 Olympic Gold Medal Winner-Men's Figure Skating.  What a thrill to meet such a superb athlete and remarkable individual!

I met Evan Lysacek for dinner at the Ivy Restaurant in Los Angeles where I soon realized I was visiting with a sincerely warm and down-to-earth individual who embodies so many amazing qualities.  Among other things, I found Evan to be very intelligent, business savvy, articulate, charitable, spiritual, artistic, devoted to family, disciplined and just so very kind.

I was eager to learn from Evan the “recipe to creating a champion athlete.” Evan shared stories of the inspiration leading to his Olympic aspirations at the age of six and the loving family support that carried him through so many lonely struggles and endless hours of discipline and exhaustive training.   I was equally awestruck by Evan’s ability to multitask through Stars On Ice and at times forego sleep to simultaneously train weekly for Dancing with the Stars.   However, I was most moved by Evan’s work with meaningful charities and his sincere desire to continue to help the less fortunate through charitable endeavors.  An unusual highlight was learning that Evan is also artistically accomplished off the ice as his canvas paintings are so very impressive.

In person, Evan Lysacek is beyond gorgeous and in every way, he is the perfect gentleman.   Evan Lysacek is not only a superb athlete; he is genuinely a beautiful and kind person.   Evan generously shared his salad with me and signed autographs for my friends back in Texas and Minnesota, and at the conclusion of our visit, Evan politely offered me a ride back to my hotel.  Thanks Evan for the dream dinner date filled with beautiful memories and to your parents, kudos for raising such a gracious STAR!

    Jason Priestley

As a huge Beverly Hills, 90210 fan,I was fortunate enough to win the auction of lunch with Jason Priestley in LA to support the Waterkeeper Alliance charity. We met Jason at the famous Polo Lounge in the beautiful Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills. It just seemed like a no brainer to meet Jason in Beverly Hills 90210. Meeting Jason was an AWESOME experience. From the minute he sat down with us, he was incredibly warm, friendly and down to earth. Over our 3 hour lunch with just him, we talked about everything from being on 90210, to being a father, to our careers, to what he was making for dinner, to directing and so on. There was a real reciprocity in our conversation and he was genuinely interested in our lives as well. He was so easy to talk to. We had a wonderful, delicious lunch in a beautiful setting, in such gorgeous weather. Jason allowed us to take as many pictures as we wanted and he autographed a piece of 90210 memorabilia for me. For us, coming from New Jersey this was THE highlight of our trip. What an over the top experience! Thank you Jason for being such a gracious, terrific guy. Thank you Erin and Charitybuzz for making this happen for me. You're the best!

Walter, John and I would like to thank you and Charitybuzz for the opportunity to attend the show and to meet Bette Midler on New Year’s Eve. The opportunity to meet with Bette was something out of a movie. She was gracious, engaging and it was a larger than life experience. You, and Bette’s staff were a pleasure to work with and we look forward to doing more with Charitybuzz in the near future.

After learning about Charitybuzz and winning something in 2009, I frequently checked the website. One day I was scanning the site and saw “lunch with Bridgit Mendler, Jason Dolley, and Bradley Steven Perry”. Of course those names were familiar to me being a girl going into her teenage years. I told my mom about it and ended up winning the auction.

We flew to Los Angeles especially for lunch and we started our trip by attending the taping of an episode of “Sonny with a Chance” (thanks to Jason’s mom and Doug Brochu’s mom). The following day was the big event and I couldn’t wait to meet everyone. Lunch turned into dinner since Bradley had a baseball game in the morning (which he won!). And, dinner turned into dinner and bowling.

We met at Lucky Strikes and right away we were comfortable with each other. Bridgit was so nice that I felt like I made a new friend and Jason and Bradley were great too! We were immediately joking around and making fun of each other’s bowling styles. And, at dinner we laughed ourselves silly. My mom had just as much fun getting to know the mothers (in between taking a million pictures).

Soon after our trip “Good Luck Charlie” came out and became a big hit. My friends can’t believe I actually met the stars of the show; it was a day I will never forget. I guess dreams really do come true…

    Cheryl Hines

This weekend we attended the premiere of Shrek. Before the movie began there was a breakfast with Shrek "food". While eating green glazed donuts one could literally bump into any number of stars numbering near one hundred. From Cameron Diaz to Steven Spielberg they were all in attendance. A few weeks before we attended the opening of Enron, the play, another Charitybuzz event where we saw Woody Allen, Alec Baldwin and Claire Danes to name a few. Attached is a photo of one of the attendees of today's premiere Cheryl Hines who was only too happy to snap a picture together. The openings and premieres offer so much more than just a great performance and VIP seating. You see more celebrities than you can name. We look forward to our next trip.

Thank you,

    Mariel Hemingway

My wife and I purchased "tea with Mariel Hemingway in Los Angeles" although we live in Denver. When we got ready to schedule it, it turned out that Mariel was going to be in Denver that week. So tea with Mariel Hemingway, turned into having a star over for lunch. We sat outside on our patio and had a couple hours to eat and chat with this amazing lady. She could not have been nicer or more generous with her time. My wife and I agreed that it was one of the top three days of our lives. We were so glad we bid on the auction."

My daughter, Camille, flew over from Scotland to see the show with me. She loved it!

I would like to thank Charitybuzz and Catherine Bell of Army Wives for one of the best experiences of a lifetime!! Within a day of winning the auction, Charitybuzz had me in contact with Catherine Bell’s personal assistant. Between myself and Catherine’s personal assistant, we had the experience scheduled in a few days time. The experience was for me and three others to visit the set of Army Wives in Charleston, SC., so I took my son Cole and two friends, Lois and Rita, with me. We were trying to set up the visit where we could see as many of the cast members as possible; therefore, we ended up going to a warehouse where all the interior sets are constructed. From the time we arrived on set, we were treated as members of the Army Wives family. Catherine was already in the middle of shooting a scene, but as soon as she had a break, she came over to introduce herself and meet the members of our group. I must say, I have collected autographs for years, and Catherine Bell has to be the most down to earth and friendly person I have ever had the opportunity to meet. The filming lasted around three hours. We got to watch Catherine film a scene with fellow castmates Kim Delaney, Sally Pressman, and Brigid Brannagh. The scene was repeatedly filmed from different angles and distances. During the breaks in filming Catherine was with us the entire time. After the scene was completed and Catherine had changed out of her scene wardrobe, we walked a few doors down to where the Army Wives craft services and catering was set up. While in this area Catherine introduced us to every cast member that came through. We had the good luck to be on set on the Friday as they were completing the episode they were filming. So the entire cast had to be there for a script read through after lunch. I believe we saw all but one cast member. This experience was better than fantastic. If you ever see an Army Wives experience on Charitybuzz, don’t hesitate to bid and bid high!! I will be a continuous bidder on Charitybuzz!!

Thanks again Catherine, Army Wives, and Charitybuzz!

Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research

Charitybuzz has been a vital component of fundraising for Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research (GAFCR) since 2007. We're known for our lavish gala event, the Angel Ball, that I host in Manhattan every fall. While we draw a sell-out crowd each year, Charitybuzz brings their global audience to the live auction and expands our reach far beyond the borders of the ballroom. Our online auctions at Charitybuzz.com have added hundreds of thousands of dollars to our coffers. That is money we wouldn't have been able to raise without our Charitybuzz partnership, money essential in our fight to fund important, cutting-edge cancer research that is helping to save lives every day.

Several years ago while looking for options to increase our fundraising dollars; I came across Charitybuzz.com quite by accident. From the very first call with them, I knew our organization, Children's Neurobiological Solutions (CNS) Foundation, would benefit greatly from partnering with Charitybuzz. We have had excellent results both in monies raised and increasing supporters to our cause. Their exceptional staff is professional, knowledgeable and always helpful. Several times Meghan (our great rep) bent over backwards to help us with a donor to make sure everyone was satisfied.
