Travel + Leisure has partnered with Room to Read to pave a path out of poverty for millions of children through education. Our organizations share a commitment to literacy, the cornerstone of all learning and fundamental for participation in today’s global society. Yet, 793 million people across the globe lack the ability to read and write. Together we strive to give children, especially girls since they are often left out on the sidelines, a chance to go to school, learn in a safe environment and develop a love of books and reading.
