The Five is a roundtable ensemble of five rotating Fox News personalities who discuss and debate the top news stories, controversies and issues of the day.

In addition to her work at FNC, Perino is the president and founder of consulting firm, Dana Perino and Company. She is also the editorial director of Crown Publishing Groups imprint Crown Forum. Perino was appointed in November 2009 to the Broadcasting Board of Governors by President Obama and confirmed in June 2010. She was also a founder of various women's organizations such as Congo Story and Minute Mentoring. Previously, Perino served as the White House Press Secretary for President George W. Bush. She also worked for the White House Council on Environmental Quality and the Department of Justice.
