Overtime Bidding

Why did the auction closing time extend by 10 minutes after I placed my bid? This is called "Popcorn" Bidding: Bids placed within 10 minutes prior to a lot's scheduled closing time will extend the closing time on that lot an additional 10 minutes. This gives all bidders an opportunity to place a competing bid. All lots will close when there have been no bids placed within the last remaining 10 minutes.

Max Bid

Your Max Bid is the most you are willing to pay for an auction item. Consider placing a Max Bid if you don’t have time to monitor an auction. Your Max Bid won't be displayed to other bidders, but will be displayed as the current bid based on the bidding increment. You won’t pay the Max Bid amount unless another bid bumps you up to the next increment.

You can monitor items you're interested in without placing a bid by selecting Watch This Item after you've logged into your account. Now you can keep track of the closing date, next minimum bid and number of bids from your Account page. We’ll email you a reminder to bid the morning items you are watching close. You can remove an item from your watch list from your Account page or by clicking the Watch button again.

Closing Time

This is the time the auction will end, but "Popcorn Bidding" could add 10 minutes to the closing time. If a bid is placed within 10 minutes of the closing time, the auction will extend by 10 minutes. This allows competing bidders a chance to stay in the race.

The 2010 Lexus HS 250h is the most fuel efficient Lexus ever built with a combined 35 MPG rated HS Hybrid that is over 59% more fuel efficient than other luxury competitors. The HS 250h has a 2.4 Liter 16-valve Atkinson-cycle powerplant at the heart of the Lexus Hybrid Drive system. It works with the electric motor to deliver excellent driving performance and 187 total system horsepower while using earning a Super Ultra-Low Emissions Vehicle (SULEVII) emissions rating. An electronic steering system and MacPherson struts front suspension system and a double wishbone rear suspension system that delivers responsiveness and maneuverability.

The Lexus HS 250h comes with a variety of safety features including, a Heads Up display that places turn by turn navigation directions on the windshield. Other features include a Driver Attention Monitor that sends an alert when the driver starts to doze, as well as a Pre-Collision system that can detect when a crash is eminent and take steps to minimize damage, a Lane Departure Warning system that alerts drivers should they stray into another lane. The 250h also offers 10 standard airbags more than any other sedan in its class. Using a specially designed wide-angle lens, an available Wide-view Front Monitor helps reveal hard-to-see areas and an available backup camera displays an enhanced rear view of what is behind the vehicle on the multi-display’s screen.

Other highlights of the HS 250h include a navigation system with the most advanced voice recognition system in its class. Navigation system includes: Hard Disk Drive Navigation System, Lexus Enform with Destination Assist, and eDestination (includes 1-year trial subscription), Lexus Insider, Voice Command, XM NavTraffic, XM NavWeather, and XM Sports & Stocks (includes 90-day trial subscription). A Smart Access keyless entry system allows the driver to unlock the doors and the trunk through the touch of a handle. 30% of the combined interior is covered with ecological plastics which are plant rather than petroleum based so they are less harmful to the environment.
