Meet Audra McDonald at The World Premiere of Beauty and the Beast on March 2 in LA

View original image

Meet Audra McDonald when you and a guest attend the world premiere screening and pre-party of Beauty and the Beast on March 2 at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles. The pre-party is a themed reception for screening guests.

Enjoy the live-action adaptation of Disney's 1991 animated film of the same name along with stars Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Josh Gad, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Audra McDonald, who has graciously donated these tickets to support the homeless youth at Covenant House.

Audra McDonald is unparalleled in the breadth and versatility of her artistry as both a singer and an actress. The winner of a record-breaking six Tony Awards, two Grammy Awards, and an Emmy Award, she was named one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people of 2015 and received a 2015 National Medal of Arts from President Barack Obama. Raised in Fresno, California, the Julliard-trained soprano is equally at home on Broadway and opera stages as she is in roles on film and television. An ardent advocate for at-risk and underprivileged youth, Audra sits on the board of Covenant House which she joined in the fall of 2014. “The more I’ve learned about what Covenant House is doing for homeless youth all over the country and around the world, the more excited I’ve become to join this powerful movement on behalf of homeless kids."

Funds from the winning bid will help Covenant House, and organization that will care for over 46,000 homeless and trafficked youth this year.
