Meet Fahad Siadat, executive director of Overtone Industries and serial entrepreneur. Since 1980, Overtone Industries has developed and presented new multidisciplinary operas and music theatre, bringing to life vivid, original stories and myths. Passionate about live performance and its power to generate transformation, performers and audience participate together in each unfolding moment.
Fahad Siadat has successfully helped create over a dozen new businesses, artistic partnerships, and arts organizations including the international publisher See-A-Dot Music Publishing, Inc., The Resonance Collective, N.E.O. Voice Festival, C3LA: The Contemporary Choral Collective of Los Angeles, and Hex Vocal Ensemble. He regularly consults for individual artists and arts organizations from Grammy-nominated musicians to experimental sound artists, coaching them on building portfolios, brand and marketing strategies, audience development, and fundraising.
Fahad has also produced inter-disciplinary theatrical works, operas, and studio recordings with companies in New York, Los Angeles, and South Korea. He has a reputation as a dynamic and engaging speaker and has received featured interviews in over a dozen podcasts, print magazines, and online publications. Fahad regularly writes articles for NewMusicBox and the Choral Journal and has presented on various topics at the American Choral Directors Association, Chorus America, the NY Choral Consortium, and Classical: NEXT. He is also an internationally recognized composer and performer, and has had his works performed in Europe, China, and across the United States.
