Through the use of culture-specific avatars and video-conferencing technology, Safe Port Initiative (SPI) is launching a global venture to deliver distance education to survivors of human trafficking, displaced refugees, and victims of systematic persecution on six continents. The pilot program for this unprecedented effort will begin in September 2016, providing culturally relevant curriculum ranging from primary academic education to adult vocational training to 60 students in Africa and the Middle East. As of September 2017, the program will expand to Europe, Asia, Russia, Australia, Canada, Central America, and South America.
This once-in-a-lifetime experience includes permanent naming rights for Safe Port Initiative's global distance education program! You may choose your own name -- the name of a loved one, the name of your business, virtually any person or organization you wish to honor. The new name will receive extensive publicity through a series of press releases and media opportunities, and will receive permanent exposure on SPI's website, all literature and PR associated with the distance learning program, and signage used for classrooms, conference facilities and special events. You will also receive a framed certificate of appreciation, suitable for display in your home or office.
This fabulous experience also includes travel to your choice of location where SPI maintains an office with 5-nights lodging. Current locations include New York City (USA), Mexico City (Mexico), Casablanca (Morocco), Nairobi (Kenya), Istanbul (Turkey), Beirut (Lebanon), Gurgaon/New Delhi (India), and Hong Kong (China). In addition, the following locations will open in late 2016/early 2017: St. Petersburg (Russia), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). Bangkok (Thailand), and Toronto (Canada). If you select a location where their distance learning program is operating, you will even have the opportunity to participate in classes if you would like to do so!
Last but not least, your experience includes 24 hours of free use of more than 3,000 meeting spaces and videoconferencing lounges to which SPI has access in the US and abroad. Your use of the meeting and videoconferencing spaces may take place in any number of locations and in any time frame.
