Win a virtual one-on-one consultation with industry veteran and activist Rachel Feldman!
Are you looking to break into directing, writing, or producing? Here is an opportunity to spend valuable time with writer/director Rachel Feldman. Whether you want feedback on the first ten pages of your script, advice on navigating the studio system in challenging times, or a candid conversation about gender equity in Hollywood, Rachel offers the kind of wisdom that only comes from decades at the helm.
Rachel Feldman is a multi-award-winning director of pilots, episodes, and features, whose career spans recent television series including BLUE BLOODS, CRIMINAL MINDS, and THE ROOKIE, and classics such as DOOGIE HOWSER M.D., DR. QUINN, MEDICINE WOMAN and PICKET FENCES.
After directing dramatic television for 30 years, LILLY, the first theatrical feature film Feldman wrote and directed, is streaming on NETFLIX. Starring Oscar-nominated actor Patricia Clarkson, John Benjamin Hickey, and Thomas Sadoski. Molly Haskell calls LILLY, "One magnificent movie". Variety called it, "One of the best overlooked films of 2025".
Writing in genres from dark to light, Feldman's production company, DollFace Films, is dedicated to the development of female-forward features and series that challenge the status quo. DollFace screenplays have been produced by Lifetime, optioned by Double Nickel Ent, Marc Platt Prods, Mark Canton, Lakeshore Ent, eOne, and ABCFamily. KINKS won ScreenCraft's Best Pilot, WGA Best Spec Pilot, Breaking Through the Lens, and CannesSeries.
Early in her film career, Feldman worked as a storyboard artist for well-known directors on studio pictures. Her degrees are from Sarah Lawrence College, Parsons School of Design, and NYU Grad Film. Feldman was a child actor with a thriving career, best known for playing Lucy in the Peanuts animation.
From the Bronx, Feldman identifies with a New York state of mind, despite having lived in L.A. for more than half her life. The third child and only girl born to first-generation Americans, her perspective is imbued with a birthright sensitivity to societal hierarchies that's led to a fascination with justice. I've devoted my creative life to mastering the tapestry of skills required to transform ideas into a cinematic, emotional experience. I believe a story can change culture.
