Description
You and three friends will have the experience of a lifetime when you win this package to MEET Bruce Springsteen on November 22nd at the HSBC Arena in Buffalo, NY -- Bruce's final show of the 2009 Tour and enjoy passes to the E-Street Lounge! The auction winner's seats will be located in the loge section (first tier above the floor) within the first five rows, in one of the two sections closest to the stage on either the left or right side. If a sound check is scheduled for this show, the winner will also receive access to this.
If the venue has a General Admission area (fondly known as "The Pit") the auction winner may choose to be in The Pit, rather than seats. The Pit is a corralled-off area on the floor, directly in front of the stage, that houses approximately 300 people. If there is a Pit area at your venue, please note the Pit is standing room only and there is no guaranteed placement in The Pit - it's a first come, first serve area. Everyone with tickets/wristbands to The Pit will form a line to enter the Pit (this line is also first come, first serve) and when the gates to The Pit open, everyone enters The Pit from whatever position you hold in that line. Once inside, The Pit is a General Admission area.
The E Street Lounge passes will enable the auction winner and his or her three guests to go backstage to relax and have a drink before the show. The Lounge has a cash bar and is open before show only.
During the meet & greet, Bruce generally spends between 10 and 15 minutes with the winners, either before or after the show (depending on his schedule). The winners may bring one item to be autographed and they may bring a camera to take photos with Bruce.
Ticket pick-up takes place at the specially designated ARTIST WILL CALL WINDOWS located in the Box Office from 6:00pm on, day of show.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform the album 'Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J.' during their concert in Buffalo, NY, on November 22, the final date of their 2009 'Working on a Dream' tour. Released in January, 1973, 'Greetings' marked Springsteen's debut as a recording artist; it is the first time this album will be performed in its entirety. Bruce and the band have performed the albums 'The Wild, The Innocent and the E Street Shuffle', 'Born to Run', 'Darkness on the Edge of Town', 'The River' and 'Born in the USA' during their fall tour.
Don't miss your chance to MEET Bruce Springsteen LIVE at the FINAL TOUR STOP IN BUFFALO and enjoy the show!

Your bid is a contract
All bids placed on the charitybuzz® Auctions website are legally binding. If you
are the successful bidder, you will enter into a legal contract to purchase the item
and will be considered the buyer of the lot.
Steps to take before you place a bid:
- If you haven't already, register for an account.
- Browse the website for items of interest.
- Once you have clicked into the lot description page, the "Place a Bid" box
will appear on your right.
- You must be logged into charitybuzz.com in order to bid. You will see the
Current Bid and the Minimum Next Bid. To bid this amount, simply click the
"Bid Now" button. A "Confirm Your Bid" box will appear confirming the Bid Price.
If okay, hit Confirm. From here you can Return to Auction, check Your Active
Lots, or Log-Out.
- Due to the charitable nature of this auction, charitybuzz® has waived all
buyer's premiums, commissions and fees.
- If you have been Outbid, you have the opportunity to continue bidding. You
will also be notified by email.
- Overtime or "Popcorn" Bidding: Bids placed within 10 minutes prior to a lot's
scheduled closing time will extend the closing time on that lot an additional
10 minutes. All lots will close when there have been no bids placed within the
last remaining 10 minutes.
Bids are a binding contract. If you have any questions on any terms and
conditions, we encourage you to email
info@charitybuzz.com or call
203.226.8306 and speak with one of our auction specialists before you place a
bid.
Max bidding allows you to bid the maximum amount you wish to bid for an auction lot.
Your maximum bid won't be displayed to other bidders, but will be displayed as the
current bid based on the bidding increment. The following example illustrates max
bidding:
- Auction Lot 1000 has a current bid of $0. The minimum bid is $250.
- Juan places and confirms a maximum bid of $500. Juan's bid is displayed as $250.
- Sally places a bid of $300 and is notified that the bid was not accepted because
it did not exceed the maximum bid.
- Juan's next bid is automatically increased to the next bidding increment of $350.
- If no other bids are placed, Juan is the winner at $350.
- If Juan's $500 max bid is overtaken by another bidder, he will receive an outbid
notice.
For further clarification please email

In addition to an online auction, charities frequently conduct a live gala and feature
a live auction at the event. For the auction lots that are included in the online auction
and the live auction, we note them with "liveBID" in the lot description, and we close
the online bidding the day of the live auction. We contact the highest bidder on those
liveBID lots by phone to see if they want us to continue bidding on their behalf at the
live auction. We can bid for you one of two ways:
- You can fill out your maximum bid online and we will bid UP TO this amount for you
during the live auction. We will stop bidding for you when your maximum bid is
reached.
- You can give us your contact phone number for the live event and one of our
personable charitybuzz staff will stay on the phone with you while the bidding takes
place. You must be registered of course to be part of liveBID. We will contact you if
you are the winning bidder immediately after the auction. Please email
info@charitybuzz.com with any questions.
ReserveBID is a way for donors/charities to ensure that items do not sell below their
value. Some items will start at a lower opening bid price to encourage bidding; however
items that display "ReserveBID not met" below the current bid are not obligated to be
sold to the highest bidder. Bidding must surpass the set reserve price in order to sell;
therefore once "ReserveBID not met" disappears, the item is valid for sale at the current
bid posted. Reserve prices are confidential and will not be revealed to bidders.
We value your confidentiality and security. In order to bid on lots over $5,000.00
your designated credit card will be validated for $5,000.00. No payments will be deducted
from your account for this credit card verification.
