Since 1993, Women’s Image Network (WIN) has celebrated those who create media that promotes gender parity to advance the value of women and girls. Additionally, each year film studios and television networks submit work that honored at our event. While these awards are presented on a completion basis to film and television professionals, WIN also honors deserving individuals who share our goals. Each year, WIN also invites deserving individual honorees: this year Karen Sharpe-Kramer is our UNITY AWARD recipient, Carrie Fisher is our COURAGE AWARD (posthumous) recipient and Anjelica Huston (our LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT honoree, but we are pending confirmation on Ms. Huston). Over the past 18 years former Women's Image Awards Honoree recipients include: Lauren Bacall, Lily Tomlin, Elizabeth Taylor, Abigail Disney, Ambassador Swanee Hunt, Irena Medavoy, Pierce Brosnan, Cecilia DeMille Presley, Senator Barbara Boxer, Suzanne Roberts, Laura Ziskin, Tichi Wilkerson and Lauren Shuler Donner, among others.
