In the Los Angeles Unified School District, over 85% of students are living near or below the poverty line and only 80% of students are graduating from high school. At CIS WE BELIEVE that ALL CHILDREN have the right to access a high quality public education and to graduate from high school, college and career ready. We work full-time inside schools to ensure that low income students from historically disadvantaged communities are connected to the supports they need to graduate on time. And it works: 96% of CISLA's students graduate from high school, college or career ready.
With support from CAA Foundation, CISLA is excited to announce its third "Lunch with a Leader" event on October 19, 2018. To support our efforts, we will auction opportunities to dine with industry leaders from the world of technology, entertainment, sports, and beyond, as well as some of Hollywood’s biggest names at an exclusive luncheon.
