Charity Bomb was founded by twin brothers and musicians in Madina Lake, Matthew & Nathan Leone. During the first two years of operations, Charity Bomb launched their Strange benefit series to raise funds for a variety of mental health organizations. In 2020, the twins discovered the research on the correlation between mental illness and a lack of EQ, or emotional intelligence. This led the duo to start their own initiative, Operation GENzEQ; an emotional intelligence education program to foster confidence, self-awareness, and the emotional resilience necessary for children to navigate their way to a happy, successful, and fulfilling life while avoiding the pitfalls of depression, bullying, suicide, and addiction.
