Founded in 1890, Tennis Canada is a non-profit, national sport association with a mission to lead the growth of tennis in Canada and a vision to become a world-leading tennis nation. Tennis in Canada continues to grow every single year with more kids than ever jumping on a court and hitting their first ball! At Tennis Canada we are focused on providing year-round affordable and accessible Kids’ Tennis programs to children of all backgrounds.
Last year, thousands of kids had their first opportunity to try the game of tennis, in a school, summer park or community program. We want to help kids get excited about a new sport while developing skills that help them in their every day life – perseverance, communication and team work to name a few.
Working with our community partners, we were able to deliver programs across Canada to children who would otherwise not have the opportunity to discover our sport. While we are proud of these achievements, there is so much more we can do! We want to keep kids engaged in the game and we want even more children to join programs.
