A note from Mark Weiss:
"The First Time I shot Tommy Lee of Mötley Crüe was in 1982 in Hollywood, California. It was for a men’s magazine owned by Playboy called OUI magazine. I had a monthly feature shooting rock stars and half-naked women. It was the First Time Mötley Crüe was in a national magazine. I have toured with the Crüe throughout the decades and while this auction is up and running, I will be unveiling a case at The Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas which pays homage to my history with Mötley Crüe, and it all started with this photograph from the First Time I shot them in 1982. There are an additional 20 photographs in the collection showcased at the Rock Paper Photo Gallery at The Hard Rock, all in honor of the Crüe’s second residency."
