Description

This is an incredible opportunity to spend time with an industry veteran picking his brain about his career and his experiences in the music business. If you're a musician or a songwriter, feel free to bring along some of your work to share with Marshall as well. This opportunity is what you decide to make it!

Award-winning writer and producer Marshall Altman is the founder of Galt Line Music. Beginning his music career as the frontman for rock band Farmer, he eventually found himself drawn to developing and recording other artists. During his years in Los Angeles as an A&R executive at major labels Capitol Records, Hollywood Records, and Columbia Records, Marshall was privileged to work with some of music’s biggest names from Citizen Cope to Katy Perry to OneRepublic. Since relocating to Nashville in 2010, Marshall has broadened his focus to include all genres of music. He has enjoyed multiple #1 and platinum singles as a writer both in the US and the UK, and continues to produce some of the best artists in the business.

Home fires kill more people in an average year than all domestic natural disasters combined. That’s why The American Red Cross wants to ensure your family knows what to do to stay safe.

The American Red Cross responds to an average of nearly 66,000 disasters each year. The majority of these are home fires. You can change that by following 2 simple steps. Step 1: Practice your 2 minute drill. Make sure you and your family can escape a home fire in under 2 minutes. Step 2: Test your smoke alarm monthly to ensure that you and your family are alerted as soon as a fire is detected.

With your donation, the American Red Cross can continue to help those affected by disaster, including home fires, by providing temporary housing, hot meals, financial and emotional support.

Charitybuzz will forward to the American Red Cross the funds raised through [sweepstakes entry fees OR the winning auction bids] on this website through 12/31/2016 after deduction of credit card, other third-party processing fees and any fulfillment expenses (which collectively will not exceed 10%) and a 20% administrative fee to Charitybuzz (computed after deduction of credit card, other third-party processing fees and any fulfillment expenses).

The American Red Cross will not receive your contact information. Should you require a receipt from the American Red Cross, please call 1-800 RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to donate by phone, or give online at www.redcross.org.

This gift will support the lifesaving mission of the American Red Cross whether it's responding to a disaster, collecting lifesaving blood, teaching skills that can save a life, or assisting our military members and their families.
