Hill will forever be remembered for his courageous actions during the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963, and is credited with saving Jacqueline Kennedy’s life. Hill retired in 1975 as Assistant Director, responsible for all protective forces. He remains involved with current Secret Service headquarters staff.
