He graduated from the prestigious Haas School of Business and finished his collegiate career playing in his fourth NCAA Championship in May of 2014. Hagy earned first-team All-American honors as a senior and was ranked No. 6 in the final 2013-14 collegiate rankings according to both Golfstat and Golfweek. His final collegiate campaign earned him the Byron Nelson Award, Pac-12 ScholarAthlete of the Year and Tom Hansen Pac-12 Conference Medal, while he also added first-team Academic All-America® honors to his growing list of accolades. Hagy was a two-time All-American (second-team honors in 2012-13), All-Region, first-team All-Pac-12 selection as well as a three-time Pac-12 All-Academic pick, a national semifinalist for The Ben Hogan Award as a senior and an All-America Scholar during his junior season.
Brandon Hagy was a four-time individual medalist with 18 top-five showings and 22 finishes in the top 10. He represented the United States in his final amateur event at the 2014 Palmer Cup, ranked as the No. 6 amateur in the world according to the Scratch Players World Amateur Ranking. On the 2016 Web.com tour, Hagy finished 19th on the money list, earning him full status on the PGA Tour. His previous best finishes include tying for 3rd at the Ellie Mae Classic, 4th at the Air Capital Classic, 5th at the BMW Charity Pro-Am, tying for 8th at the El Bosque Mexico Championship, tying for 9th at the Digital Ally Open and tying for 14th at the Sanderson Farms Championship.
