An irreplaceable collectible for the serious NASCAR and motorsports collector!

Richard Petty— known as “The King” of NASCAR with a legacy of 200 career victories and 7 NASCAR Daytona 500 championships— has personally hand-signed this NASCAR race car hood in an especially large signature, in bold felt-tip. Petty has signed the hood in the upper right.

Vibrant blue, the hood is emblazoned with a huge PASSION FOR WINNING emblem with a race car, black & white finish line flags, and draped banners with the PASSION FOR WINNING motif in large yellow letters.

At the top of the hood, both left and right, are 2 hinge-holes perfectly placed to hang the hood for display. The reverse side of the hood also has hardware which will work for hanging or wall-mounting.

The hood is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity directly from the Richard Petty Museum in North Carolina. The COA has been personally signed by Richard Petty.

Richard Petty was the sole stock car representative in the first class inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in 1989, was inducted into International Motorsports Hall of Fame in 1997, named one of NASCAR's 50 Greatest Drivers in 1998, and was inducted into the first class of the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2010. Petty was awarded the Medal of Freedom by President George Bush— the first motorsports athlete ever to be honored with this award.
