Don’t miss your chance to take home this amazing hand-painted Gibson Guitar.
No Fear was hand-painted by students in the Advanced and Masters Visual Arts classes at St. Cecilia Academy in Nashville, TN. "Terri Clark’s song, “No Fear” inspires the theme of this guitar. The front design represents the city of Nashville. The Nashville skyline painted in the style of Vincent van Gogh symbolizes that we are in this fight together. The hearts in the center of the brightly painted circles represent the prayers, love, and community outreach for children who are fighting cancer. The bright lights of the buildings spell out “No Fear”. On the back of the guitar, the hand of a child holding the heart surrounded by fire signifies a feeling of triumph over childhood cancer. Blue is a symbol of the strength children are finding from our community. These two images encourage the community to have courage, hope, and strength while increasing funding for local and innovative childhood cancer research." No Fear is a unique guitar that belongs to the GuitarTown Kids Nashville special collection.
GuitarTown Kids is a public arts project of the Gibson Foundation, partnering with the T.J. Martell Foundation, to draw together several of Nashville’s art students and celebrities to raise funds for cancer research at flagship hospitals across the United States. The project focuses on kids helping kids fight cancer while creating beautifully hand-painted Gibson guitars.
