Cathy has been in the casting business since the early 1990s and has cast over 130 films and now numerous television series. She has an eye for talent and knows how to find what she’s looking for. She has worked with some of the biggest names in show business.

Cathy is credited with casting some of Hollywood's biggest films, including but not limited to: When a Man Loves a Woman, While You Were Sleeping, Message in a Bottle, United 93, The Vow, The Adjustment Bureau, 27 Dresses, Hercules, The Proposal, The Fugitive, The Good Shepherd, Run All Night, Hands of Stone, Bad Moms and A Bad Mom’s Christmas. Upcoming releases include Extinction, starring Michael Pena, Lizzy Caplan and Mike Coulter and Dumplin' starring Jennifer Aniston and Danielle Macdonald. She also cast the TNT series Claws, starring Niecy Nash, Carrie Preston and Dean Norris, which is currently airing.

Cathy was also nominated for a 2014 Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special on HBO's The Normal Heart starring Julia Roberts and Mark Ruffalo.
