Description

Enjoy a private meeting with Todd Carlisle, VP of Human Resources at Twitter, including a tour of the Twitter HQ and lunch in the cafe for up to four in Downtown San Francisco. This is an hour an a half experience. Todd can offer advice on how to get a job in some of the toughest spots in tech, where standing above the thousands of job applicants is a challenge. He has spent many many hours with Silicon Valley titans and is happy to share his wisdom.

With 11 years of heading up Google HR, starting in 2004, and now Twitter, Todd has extensive wisdom and anecdotes regarding Silicon Valley for example: one of his past clients had 7,500 people apply for every one job filled, and he successfully hired Obama'a Air Force One pilot to come fly at Google!

As VP of HR at Twitter Todd is responsible for the global HR Business Partner team and the Global Recruiting Team. Prior to this role, he had a brief stint as a VP of HR at Lending Club but spent the majority of his career at Google. While at Google, he founded the People Analytics team, was the Director of Recruiting for a team that hired 5000 people, and acted as a Director of HR for the Trust & Safety team. His work at Google (on topics like scientific hiring, the wisdom of crowds, and performance management) has been covered by the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, National Public Radio, and the Harvard Business Review. PreGoogle he spent a few years as a management consultant for Right Management. Todd has a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Texas A&M University.
