Ken Fuchs is a titan in reality television, having directed some of the most popular and influential projects within the genre. For over a decade, Fuchs has traveled to the world’s most exotic locations as director for all 31 seasons of ABC’s mega-hit, “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette,” hosted by Chris Harrison. The beloved series consistently draws over 8 million viewers, with Time Magazine calling it a top 10 reality TV show that “revived and supersized the dating show.”

Recently, Ken earned both Emmy and DGA nominations for his work ABC’s powerhouse series, “Shark Tank,” starring Mark Cuban, Kevin O’Leary and Robert Herjavec. Helming the show for all 7 seasons, Ken has led “Shark Tank” to dominant Friday night ratings, as well as 2 straight Emmy wins in 2014 & 2015 for Outstanding Structured Reality Program. In addition, Ken has directed for 15 seasons of “Family Feud” hosted by Steve Harvey. The program is a heavyweight in the syndication world, with a still growing loyal fan base of millions of viewers, as well countless ratings records.

Ken also directed the first season of spin-off, “Celebrity Family Feud,” which continues to excel in primetime on ABC. He is set to begin filming the show’s second season in the coming weeks.

Starting his career in the talk show world, Ken’s big break came when he directed NBC’s late night talk show, “Later with Greg Kinnear.” He has worked on a wide-array of different talk shows, including CBS’ “The Roseanne Show,” for which he received a Daytime Emmy nomination. Ken also worked on Fox’s Emmy-winning variety series, “The Ben Stiller Show” starring Ben Stiller, Andy Dick, and Bob Odenkirk.

Fuchs specializes in live television specials, overseeing an expansive camera crew and amplified production atmosphere. His efforts have made Bachelor specials, including “The Wedding: Trista and Ryan,” “The Bachelor: After The Final Rose,” “The Bachelor: Women Tell All,” some of most visually stunning and highly watched episodes on television. New to this year, Ken directed “The Bachelor Live,” a Bachelor after show where Chris Harrison discusses that night’s episode with celebrity guests and former contestants.

Ken’s work established the after show as must-see television, boosted by special interviews and exclusive behind the scenes footage that fuels social media discussions. For the recent Bachelor 20th Anniversary TV special, Ken directed his most exciting episode yet, culminated by the wedding of “Bachelor in Paradise” stars Jade and Tanner.
