The winner will have the exclusive opportunity to receive a world-class half day media training session with the UN Foundation’s Chief Communications and Marketing Officer, Aaron Sherinian – recently named PR Week’s In-House Communications Professional of the Year -- complete with on-camera sessions and critiques! This experience can take place in Washington D.C. or New York City. 

Receive techniques, tips and tricks to effectively interact with reporters, journalists, and other members of the media during interviews and press conferences, and how to remain articulate and consistently on message. Learn to avoid the pitfalls of being quoted out of context, and how to get noticed in an overcrowded news cycle. Aaron has previously trained and advised celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Pharrell Williams, basketball superstar Steph Curry, “Supernanny” Jo Frost and international soccer star Keisuke Honda. Session will be tailored to meet the needs of the client.

Aaron Sherinian is the Chief Communications and Marketing Officer for the United Nations Foundation. Aaron has led the Foundation’s public relations efforts, media relationships, strategic outreach, and online presence since 2009, managing an award-winning team of communicators and digital pioneers who believe that innovative communications can help change the world.  He has helped build some of the most talked about milestones in digital global engagement around causes and UN issues over the last few years including the Social Good Summit, #GivingTuesday, Rio+Social, International Day of Happiness, and the Momentum1000 global social media rally.  He is a passionate supporter of efforts to build a new era of global activism and philanthropy among a younger generation that is emerging on the global scene. Aaron was named by PRWeek as Global Public Relations Professional of the Year for 2016-2017. His team won three consecutive honors by PRNews as “Public Affairs Team of the Year” in 2012, 2013, and 2014.

The minimum shipping charge for hard copies of tickets and certificates is $14.95.
