This is your chance to pick the brain of truly maverick Hollywood manager & producer, John Zaozirny.
Whether you’re looking for advice on a TV or film idea or seeking guidance on how to navigate obtaining representation or how to break into show business, John has the expertise, experience and vision to provide a wealth of information and words of wisdom.
Zaozirny founded Bellevue Productions in 2011, and its shift to literary management in 2015 has been an extremely fruitful one. So much so that Bellevue is now one of the hottest, fastest-growing forces in film. The company has had multiple clients on the last three Black Lists, including topping the 2016 Black List with Madonna biopic Blonde Ambition. Bellevue clients have written or directed several films, including Summer Of ’84, Splinter, Office Uprising, Cheap Thrills, Bad Match, A Crooked Somebody, and Better Watch Out. Bellevue has produced the films Always Watching and Parallel and has Eli in post-production at Paramount Players, with a release date of January 4, 2019.
From Vancouver, Canada and a graduate of the Tisch program at NYU, John’s experience prior to Bellevue includes work at Appian Way (Leonardo DiCaprio’s company) and on the TV series Castle. As a literary manager, he’s had seven scripts on the last three Black Lists and five of his clients had features produced in 2016. As a producer, John’s feature film projects include Cristo (set up at Warner Bros, Black List 2010), Warden (set up at New Line) Capsule (set up at Fox, Black List 2013), Blonde Ambition (set up at Universal, Black List 2016), Lionhunters (set up at Warner Bros, Black List 2017), and Infinite (set up at Paramount, Black List 2017.) He was an executive producer on the feature films Always Watching and Parallel and is producing Eli, which is in post-production at Paramount Players and set to be released on January 4, 2019.
