with veteran television and film executive Corey Marsh!
Corey Marsh is a scripted TV and Film executive at Wonderland Sound and Vision, a major production company with an overall deal at 20th Century Fox. One of the most successful PODs in entertainment, Wonderland Sound and Vision is prolific director/producer McG’s shingle (The Babysitter, When We First Met, I Feel Pretty, Terminator Salvation, Charlie’s Angels, Shadowhunters, Lethal Weapon, Supernatural). Marsh is currently producing the upcoming Netflix movie, Rim of the World, and prepping the sequel to the 2017 Netflix hit, The Babysitter. He also sells scripted TV projects to all major broadcast, cable and streaming networks - working with some of the most high-profile talent in Hollywood.
Prior to working at Wonderland, Marsh spent 6.5 years at Disney Channel and Disney XD, where he worked his way up to Executive Director, Scripted Development. He is credited with developing some of Disney Channel’s most successful series, including K.C. Undercover, Jessie, Liv & Maddie, and Girl Meets World, the latter of which was a passion project for Marsh, who credits its precursor, ABC’s Boy Meets World, as the inspiration for pursuing a career in the television industry. Stretching outside of TV, Marsh developed Descendants, a high profile, live-action franchise movie revolving around the offspring of the classic Disney villains. Directed by Kenny Ortega, the movie spawned two sequels, animated shorts, and multiple books, as well as lucrative toy and fashion lines. The property launched a multi-hundred million dollar business for The Walt Disney Company! Marsh also conceived Disney Channel's Storytellers program, a WGA-sanctioned writer incubator designed to groom the developers of tomorrow. In its inaugural year, Storytellers generated a series pickup for half-hour comedy, Bizaardvark.
After beginning his career working as a writers’ assistant on Will & Grace, Starter Wife, and In Plain Sight, Marsh’s big break came when music manager and producer Jeff Kwatinetz offered him an executive job at then-startup production company, Prospect Park. During his two year tenure, Marsh worked on the development team that delivered two successful series, USA's Royal Pains and FX’s Wilfred.
