Vic is Senior Director, Product design at Disney+. Disney+ launched in November 2019 with a jaw-dropping 10M+ subscribers after day 1. Vic leads the In-Service content group, responsible for ensuring that all content be presented to people in the most high-quality and best representative form of the film or show.
Previously, Vic was SVP, Marketing at IMVU - a 3D Avatar Social Network with over 200M users. Vic helped transform the Content Marketing group, to take advantage of AI-based technology and Machine-Learning to more than double ROI after first reinventing the company’s brand and core messaging. Vic also held SVP, Design positions at Mode Media, the top “hub” for discovering the best bloggers.
Vic is also Founder and President of the Zaudhâus Design Group, an interaction design & branding firm with offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles which he started in 1999 - working with companies ranging from Adobe, Pure Storage, HP, BD Biosciences, SAP, and Affymetrix, to consumer goods companies like Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and Follow Your Heart.
In 1999, Vic co-founded skin-care company, JuiceBeauty. He sold the company in 2005 and continues to help others develop innovative skin care product lines though Zaudhaus. Gwyneth Paltrow recently invested in and continues to be the spokesperson for the company.
Fun Fact: . While in high school in Cupertino, Vic created a newsletter, the MacGazette – writing and producing it at a nearby computer store. Steve Jobs discovered the newsletter and encouraged Vic to apply for an internship. The internship turned into a full time job for nearly 3 years working with the original Mac design team in Apple Computer's Creative Services department. Vic holds a Graphic Design degree with honors from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California and holds four patents for Internet-related technologies that are owned by Adobe Systems, Inc..
