Bid to win a 1-hour informational session with Dustin Calif, Managing Partner at world recognized commercial production company Tool, to discuss the best ways to break-in as a commercial and/or VR director!

Tool won the prestigious Palme D'Or at the 2016 Cannes Advertising Festival.

Dustin co-leads the day-to-day management of Tool, a creative production partner helping brands and entertainment studios create cultural moments that get people talking. Since joining, Tool has been recognized on the Ad Age Creativity A-List 8x, won two Emmys, the prestigious Cannes Advertising Palme D’Or and been inducted into the FWA Hall of Fame. 

He is responsible for founding the Experience group at Tool, which consists of 2 business units: Experience & Tech. In addition, Dustin manages world-renown directors and artists that span content, experience, and tech to help bring their visionary talents to commercial projects.

Working with clients such as Amazon, Airbnb, Facebook, Netflix, Google, Adidas, Intel, and many others, Dustin has overseen over 450 projects with brands and entertainment studios that span activations, events, AR, AI, live streaming. He specializes in creating innovative new forms of advertising that allow brands to establish new types of connections with brands. 

Dustin maintains an active presence in the interactive advertising and marketing industry, serving as a judge for the Emmys, Webby Awards, and Effies, and guest lecturing at UCLA, USC, and Loyola Marymount. Dustin was recently featured on Campaign's 2018 Digital 40 Over 40 list and has spoken at conferences such as Collision 2019, Cannes Advertising Festival Social Media Week LA, LA Games Conference, 4A’s CreateTech, AICP Conference, SXSW Interactive Conference (2011, 2012, 2014), Ciclope, TV of Tomorrow, F5 Fest, , NAB Conference, Seattle  Interactive Conference, DMEXCO, and Digital Hollywood. He also holds membership in the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences and is currently on the Loyola Marymount University’s M-School Board of Advisors.

Before joining Tool, Dustin was Co-Owner & Managing Partner at digital agency Spacedog, with offices in L.A. and New York. In 2008, Dustin helped negotiate Spacedog’s acquisition by Mendelsohn Zien and Hakuhodo, the second largest advertising holding company in Asia.

The minimum processing and handling charge for this item is $9.95.

The minimum shipping, handling and applicable insurance charge for non-tangible items is $9.95. Detailed redemption information will be emailed to the winning bidder. The minimum shipping charge for hard copies of tickets and certificates is $14.95. The minimum shipping charge for merchandise is $19.95 (shipments outside the U.S. are subject to additional shipping and customs fees). Tickets, certificates and merchandise are typically shipped with signature required, unless otherwise specified, via professional carrier. In some cases, tickets will be left at the venue's "Will Call" window under the winner's name. Merchandise is insured for the winning amount.
