“For the 2011 Pink Swan Project to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, we exotically embellished Arne Jacobsen’s iconic piece. The exterior of the chair is layered in hard brass paillettes, and the seat is lined in a soft plush pile fabric. Feathered trim follows the sinuous line between the outer shell and interior seat, an elegant nod to the chair’s avian form. The finishes embrace a modern, unexpected and resilient feminine spirit."
The chairs will be on view at SUITE New York during the month of October for interested bidders to view in person.
