Accent your home with this beautiful Snaka Waka Post from famed furniture designer Tucker Robbins.

Dimensions: 69" H x 10" W x 10" D

The Bamun carvers of Cameroon saw these and called them Snaka-Waka or snake walking in West African Pidgin English. Hand carved in West Africa using centuries old techniques, the Snaka Wakas are made from the branches of the same coffee shade trees used to make the African carved stools. By using every part of the tree, the Snaka Wakas tell the story of sustainability.

For the past 30 years, Tucker Robbins, passion has been bringing the spirit and craft from traditional artisans to contemporary life. By combining ancient techniques and iconic forms, he creates furniture that is both modern and timeless.

Says Tucker Robbins, "I dreamed my dream and went with it. I am passionate about the spirit and beauty of furniture made by skilled craftsmen using centuries-old techniques of ancient cultures. Solid wood, traditional craft, and iconic forms result in authentic design with a spirit of its own. I practice sustainability by using what is salvaged and by working with people who live at the edge of the forest, who have been its caretakers for centuries."
