Have you always wanted to write the great American novel while sipping delicious wine, but never found the time? How about being a character in New York Times bestselling author John Lescroart’s next novel and scoring a Handwritten Wines 3-liter, etched, hand painted bottle of Handwritten’s 2011 Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir signed by the author?

Celebrated as one of the greatest authors of the legal thriller, John Lescroart (pronounced “less-kwah”) has landed on the New York Times bestseller list 17 times. His books have been translated into 16 languages in more than 75 countries. Huffington Post says, “The writing skills of John Lescroart are a national treasure." So really, this is your chance to become part of a national treasure!

Handwritten Wines will host Lescroart as part of his national tour promoting his latest novel The Keeper on Saturday, June 21st as part of the winery’s StoryTellers Series. The evening is also a fundraiser for the Napa County Library Literacy Center, which provides free tutoring for adults who need help with reading and writing. They also have on-site ESL classes and tutoring at three Migrant Farm Worker Housing units in the Napa Valley. This Charitybuzz lot is a key element to Handwritten’s fundraising efforts in support of literacy!
