GI Film Festival & Semper Fi Fund
Each November, in honor of Veterans Day, the Military Services Department of The Los Angeles Film School invites patriotic sponsors, donors, industry professionals and employers to join forces and deliver an exclusive sequence of events for our Veteran community. This year, on Saturday, November 10th, the GI Film Festival joins our institution for their Hollywood debut. Another new edition is our association with the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. A Game Tournament, as well as a game and film sound event will complete the daytime roster of events. These enrichment activities will close for the evening’s events: an award ceremony culminating in a dinner and online auction on the 237th birthday of the United States Marine Corps.

Net proceeds from sponsorships and the auction will benefit the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund a 501©3, as well as the GI Film Festival, a veteran-owned and operated 501©3.

The Los Angeles Film School has a proud history of undergraduates with military backgrounds. It’s a list that continues to grow each month.

We are honored to provide our servicemen and women with The Yellow Ribbon program and a team dedicated to work with our troops. We understand how important higher education is to our veterans, reservists, their spouses and families. That is why our Military Division is comprised soley of prior military members that focus on the educational and financial needs of our service members.
