In three hours design expert Yael Pardess will strategize and research to aid you in clarifying your vision and goals. Do you have an event, or a visual project you would like to realize? An album cover, a book or poster? A performance, an installation, re-imagine a space? Would you like a partner to brainstorm, bounce creative ideas and come up with the best visual representation? In three hours Yael Pardess will strategize and research to aid you in clarifying your vision and goals. This meeting will occur over Zoom allowing Yael to research for you and share her screen during the meeting.
Yael provides innovative design services for special events, museums immersive shows and exhibits, theme park attractions, rides, theatre, and opera. Her clients include the Walt Disney Company, Universal Studios, Paramount, Hettema Group, Mousetrappe, Bezark, Nassal and more. Yael started her design career in Israel in theater sets and costumes design, after studying Theater Design at Tel Aviv University. Her designs garnered awards, reviews and public recognition. She collaborated with Israel’s best directors in theaters such as the Habima National Theater and Kameri Theater. Since moving to the US, Yael has designed theater sets for Broadway, regional theaters, and many Los Angeles theatres such as the Ahmanson, Mark Taper Forum, Kirk Douglas, Pasadena Playhouse and many more. Her design work received rave reviews, Dramalogue awards, Drama Critic Awards and nominations.
Yael aspires to forge unforgettable experiences and create visually stunning experiences that combine both educational and entertainment values. Among the experiences she is most proud of are several THEA award-winning projects: Beyond All Boundaries, a co-production with Tom Hanks and The National World War II Museum in New Orleans, where she art directed the multimedia for the powerful immersive 30 minutes show, Lincoln Eyes for the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum (Art Direction). Both shows combine sets, multimedia, previously shot actors and special effects to tell history in a unique immersive creative way. Yael has been a USC Adjunct Professor teaching Theater Set Design, occasionally lectures on design, and mentors young designers.
