Overtime Bidding

Why did the auction closing time extend by 10 minutes after I placed my bid? This is called "Popcorn" Bidding: Bids placed within 10 minutes prior to a lot's scheduled closing time will extend the closing time on that lot an additional 10 minutes. This gives all bidders an opportunity to place a competing bid. All lots will close when there have been no bids placed within the last remaining 10 minutes.

Max Bid

Your Max Bid is the most you are willing to pay for an auction item. Consider placing a Max Bid if you don’t have time to monitor an auction. Your Max Bid won't be displayed to other bidders, but will be displayed as the current bid based on the bidding increment. You won’t pay the Max Bid amount unless another bid bumps you up to the next increment.

Closing Time

On Friday, August 5 at 12:30 p.m., the winner of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will be able to show-off their surfing skills in Life Rolls On’s They Will Surf Again Expression Session during the 2011 Nike U.S. Open of Surfing!

The They Will Surf Again Expression Session is an opportunity for surfers to showcase their most creative moves, while highlighting a special exhibition of Life Rolls On’s adaptive surfing program, They Will Surf Again, which empowers paraplegics and quadriplegics with the opportunity to surf. Led by world-famous adaptive surfer and Life Rolls On Founder Jesse Billauer, who has been featured in the surf epic, Step Into Liquid, Kelly Slater, Mick Fanning, Rob Machado, Brett Simpson, Courtney Conlogue, and Coco Ho are just some of the incredible surfers who have surfed in the They Will Surf Again Expression Session.

The winner will feel like a pro as he/she receives an exclusive 2011 Nike U.S. Open of Surfing They Will Surf Again Expression Session Rash Guard to wear in the water (and keep as a memento from the day!), then will surf alongside some of the pros during the They Will Surf Again Expression Session in front of thousands of excited fans! Just like the pros, a professional photographer will also capture the action and will provide the winner with photographs as a keepsake of this incredible experience. To top it off, the winner will also receive two (2) VIP passes to catch the rest of the day’s action from an exclusive viewing area.
