Description
Once again we are able to offer this exclusive experience for Jayni and Chevy Chase's Green School Auction: Sit in on the Howard Stern Show and watch Howard and Robin and the gang do their show live--you'll also get a full tour of the studio and offices by Gary "Baba Booey" Dell' Abate! However, as promised by Howard, this year will be even better!
The self-proclaimed "King of All Media" has been dubbed a shock jock for his highly controversial use of scatological, sexual and racial humor. Stern has said that the show was never about shocking people, but primarily intended to offer his honest opinions on a gamut of issues (ranging from world affairs to problems among his own staff). Though controversial, he is the highest-paid radio personality in the United States and the most fined personality in radio broadcast history.
Howard Stern is best known for his national radio show, which for many years was syndicated on FM radio stations (and a few AM stations) throughout the United States until his last terrestrial radio broadcast on December 16, 2005. He began broadcasting on the subscription-based Sirius satellite radio service on January 9, 2006.
In addition to radio, Stern moved into publishing, television, feature films, and music. He has written two books, Private Parts, which he adapted into a film, and Miss America. Stern's television endeavors include a variety show on New York City's WWOR-TV, a nightly E! show documenting his radio broadcasts, a similar CBS program that competed with Saturday Night Live for a time, "Howard On-Demand" for digital cable subscribers in various markets, and Son of the Beach, a parody of Baywatch for FX which Stern executive produced.
In 2006, Howard Stern was elected into Time Magazine's "Time 100: The People who shape our world"[1] and was ranked #7 in Forbes Magazine's 2006 annual Celebrity 100.[2] On February 13, 2007, Stern became engaged to his long-time girlfriend, model Beth Ostrosky.
The winner of this incredible experience will be able to sit in during a taping of the show and observe all the action. A meet and greet with the entire crew is included in this package. HOWARD ALSO COMMITTED WHEN CHEVY WAS ON THE SHOW ON SEPTEMBER 18TH TO LET THE WINNER PICK AN EXACT SHOW BASED ON WHAT IS HAPPENING AND THE GUEST SCHEDULE TO MAKE SURE THAT THE WINNER'S EXPECATIONS ARE EXCEDED...INCLUDING HAVING CHEVY COME BACK TO ACCOMPANY THE WINNER. For true Howard Stern fans who listened to the September 18th exclusive one hour Chevy Chase interview and know their long and close history, this is truly a Howard Stern fan dream come true. Gary Dell'Abate, Howard's long time producer will serve as the host for this experience and tour the winner around the studio.
For Howard Stern fans, life does not get any better!
Terms:
Valid for two people, based on availability. Gary Dell'Abate will serve as host. Taped in NYC. Winner will be able to hear guest schedule and Howard committed on air on September 18th to make the experience truly incredible.

Your bid is a contract
All bids placed on the charitybuzz® Auctions website are legally binding. If you

and will be considered the buyer of the lot.
Steps to take before you place a bid:
- If you haven't already, register for an account.
- Browse the website for items of interest.
- Once you have clicked into the lot description page, the "Place a Bid" box
will appear on your right.
- You must be logged into charitybuzz.com in order to bid. You will see the
Current Bid and the Minimum Next Bid. To bid this amount, simply click the
"Bid Now" button. A "Confirm Your Bid" box will appear confirming the Bid Price.
If okay, hit Confirm. From here you can Return to Auction, check Your Active
Lots, or Log-Out.
- Due to the charitable nature of this auction, charitybuzz® has waived all
buyer's premiums, commissions and fees.
- If you have been Outbid, you have the opportunity to continue bidding. You
will also be notified by email.
- Overtime or "Popcorn" Bidding: Bids placed within 10 minutes prior to a lot's
scheduled closing time will extend the closing time on that lot an additional
10 minutes. All lots will close when there have been no bids placed within the
last remaining 10 minutes.
Bids are a binding contract. If you have any questions on any terms and
conditions, we encourage you to email
info@charitybuzz.com or call
203.226.8306 and speak with one of our auction specialists before you place a
bid.
Max bidding allows you to bid the maximum amount you wish to bid for an auction lot.
Your maximum bid won't be displayed to other bidders, but will be displayed as the
current bid based on the bidding increment. The following example illustrates max
bidding:
- Auction Lot 1000 has a current bid of $0. The minimum bid is $250.
- Juan places and confirms a maximum bid of $500. Juan's bid is displayed as $250.
- Sally places a bid of $300 and is notified that the bid was not accepted because
it did not exceed the maximum bid.
- Juan's next bid is automatically increased to the next bidding increment of $350.
- If no other bids are placed, Juan is the winner at $350.
- If Juan's $500 max bid is overtaken by another bidder, he will receive an outbid
notice.

In addition to an online auction, charities frequently conduct a live gala and feature
a live auction at the event. For the auction lots that are included in the online auction
and the live auction, we note them with "liveBID" in the lot description, and we close
the online bidding the day of the live auction. We contact the highest bidder on those
liveBID lots by phone to see if they want us to continue bidding on their behalf at the
live auction. We can bid for you one of two ways:
- You can fill out your maximum bid online and we will bid UP TO this amount for you
during the live auction. We will stop bidding for you when your maximum bid is
reached.
- You can give us your contact phone number for the live event and one of our
personable charitybuzz staff will stay on the phone with you while the bidding takes
place. You must be registered of course to be part of liveBID. We will contact you if
you are the winning bidder immediately after the auction. Please email
info@charitybuzz.com with any questions.
ReserveBID is a way for donors/charities to ensure that items do not sell below their
value. Some items will start at a lower opening bid price to encourage bidding; however
items that display "ReserveBID not met" below the current bid are not obligated to be
sold to the highest bidder. Bidding must surpass the set reserve price in order to sell;
therefore once "ReserveBID not met" disappears, the item is valid for sale at the current
bid posted. Reserve prices are confidential and will not be revealed to bidders.
We value your confidentiality and security. In order to bid on lots over $5,000.00
your designated credit card will be validated for $5,000.00. No payments will be deducted
from your account for this credit card verification.
