Since 1985, SPIN magazine has been known for giving the first national exposure to many of history’s most important recording artists. The publication has since expanded to be a monthly resource for all things prominent in music. This year SPIN is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

In celebration of this milestone, SPIN has teamed with platinum-selling anthemic rockers Paramore to hold a charity auction for Hands on Nashville. Offered at the auction will be a limited-edition turntable autographed by the members of Paramore, including Hayley Williams, the 21-year-old dynamo with a voice like a fire truck and hair to match. The auction also includes a limited edition 140g vinyl copy of Paramore’s latest release Brand New Eyes.

Hands on Nashville is a recognized leader in programs, partnerships, and services that maximize volunteer impact for youth, adult, corporate, and nonprofit constituencies in Nashville. Proceeds raised by this charity auction will go directly to Hands on Nashville and will be used to aid the greater Nashville community, which has been deeply and tragically affected by the recent flash flood, which claimed 30 lives and damaged many historical landmarks, such as the legendary Grand Ol’ Opry House, regarded by many to be the spiritual birthplace of country music.

The Limited-Edition SPIN 25 USB Turntable is USB enabled for connection to Windows-equipped PC and Mac, and uses Software Suite for ripping and editing audio content.
