True Colors Online Charity Auction
Join us for Cyndi Lauper's 1st Annual True Colors Online Charity Auction in support of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality. The net proceeds from this exciting auction will directly benefit the work of the True Colors Fund and two of True Colors amazing 2008 non-profit partners: PFLAG and CENTERLINK.

TRUE COLORS FUND
The True Colors Fund, the non-profit arm of the True Colors Tour, seeks to empower the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and allied community to volunteer and support the organizations working on their behalf at the national, state and local levels. For the GLBT community to achieve full equality and acceptance, the community as a whole must include themselves in the work being done every day. The True Colors Fund seeks to make that a reality through an informative, in-depth and action-oriented public awareness and education campaign set to launch in 2009, as well as partnering with GLBT non-profit organizations on the annual True Colors Tour to educate attendees about the issues impacting them today.

CENTERLINK
CenterLink (formerly The National Association of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Centers) was founded in 1994 as a member-based coalition to support the development of strong, sustainable LGBT community centers. Based in Washington, DC, CenterLink works with other national organizations to advance the rights of LGBT individuals and to provide LGBT community centers with information and analysis of key issues. Serving over 168 LGBT community centers across the country, CenterLink assists newly forming community centers and helps strengthen existing LGBT centers, through networking opportunities for center leaders, peer-based technical assistance and training, and a variety of capacity building services. Serving over 1.5 million people, they are the heart and soul of the LGBT movement and are vital to our current well-being and dreams for the future.

PFLAG
Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) is the nation's foremost family-based organization committed to the civil rights of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) people. PFLAG was started nearly 35 years ago when Jeanne Manford, a mother and schoolteacher, declared her unconditional love for her gay son in the media and at a New York Pride event - a nearly unheard of action at the time. Her monumental action of calling on all parents to speak up in support of their GLBT children gave way to the creation of support groups around the U.S. Since that time, PFLAG has had phenomenal growth, now representing more than 200,000 members and supporters in over 500 chapters throughout the United States. Its members - parents, families, allies, and GLBT people themselves - carry out PFLAG's three-part mission of support, education, and advocacy for all through strategic local, state, and national initiatives.
