This year The Center for Environmental Education Online celebrates its seventeenth year as a national resource center and clearinghouse for environmental education. Founded by Jayni and Chevy Chase, the non-profit organization grew out of their long-held belief that if understanding and change are going to occur, it must begin with the education of our children. CEE has become a vital link between the "in-the-trenches" educators and the abundant environmental education resources available. CEE provides important connections for countless in-service teachers so that they are able to bring accurate, interesting, timely, and inspiring teaching materials and resources into their classrooms.

charitybuzz is pleased to be hosting the Fourth Annual Chevy Chase Green Auction, which is a much anticipated online global event filled with experiences donated by well -known celebrity and corporate friends of Jayni and Chevy who share their deep concern about The Environment. The monies raised will enable Jayni and Chevy and The Center for Environmental Education Online to further strengthen and diversify their electronic presence, including initiatives that help educate for sustainability, the science of climate change and supporting healthy food in schools.
